Okay, but does anyone else get inordinately annoyed by "White Ranger, Dino Power"? Is there any particular reason why Trent's gem worked the way it did? I understand that the Dino Morphers were set to a certain voice-activation code and Trent's wasn't part of the set, but...every morph scene has an appendix dangling off of it because Trent can't follow the freaking crowd.

Arrow S05E14

Can someone please tell me if I’m supposed to care about Susan’s career? I guess that it was unfortunate that there was no way to get her fired and blacklisted over the actual ethical missteps she made during the season, but given that Team Arrow has already sanctioned murder as a method of keeping the secret safe, I think it’s a little weird that merely ending someone’s career is considered so off-limits. Maybe Thea should have first assigned Susan to work as a bodyguard for a wealthy, powerful individual who is also corrupt, so that Oliver would feel less bad about destroying her?

Furthermore, Susan blatantly admitted (admitted is actually the wrong word here, since she wasn’t being accused and wasn’t apologetic) that she would absolutely have published the story on Oliver, so why was he claiming that she would not have done so? It makes him seem even dumber than he was when he was trying to handle the Samantha situation. I’ve seen elsewhere that Susan is just another Samantha that the writers (fail in the) attempt to make sympathetic, and I can’t help but agree. In both cases, I think they’re supposed to be good people at heart, but they’re actually both rather manipulative. Should I have seen Susan’s attempts to sleep with Oliver as anything other than a recon mission?

I just find it hard to understand what the show is trying to convey. I laugh to think of how I thought the most mixed message this show would ever offer was one about gun control, and now...I just can’t understand. Someone help me understand.

Supergirl S02E12+E13

I guess it serves me right for waiting so long to watch Ep. 12? I was just about to hop on Tumblr and squee about LenaxKaraxFlowers and then some nonsense happened at the end of the episode, and then some FREAKING NONSENSE happened for an entire episode.

Look, I’m not exactly a dyed-in-the-wool Tumblr dweller. I post maybe twice a year or so because lol. But shouldn’t the director be telling MB and KMG not to look at each other the way they do if they’re not supposed to be together? There’s literally no reason for baiting this couple if it’s not meant to be a couple, because Kara has like 10 love interests at this point and why can’t it just stop

Side note: Yeah, I watched Smallville. I see the writers did too.

Unidentified Woman Strikes Angel Grove

Blurry security footage from the local jewelry shop displays a mysterious woman laughing maniacally.

The recent outbreak of mayhem in Angel Grove, including the horrific events at the Angel Grove Fishing Dock, has the city reeling on edge. No information on the expected suspect has been released but rumors are surfacing about a mysterious female spotted at the scene of the crime by a deckhand staff member earlier that night. According to tight-lipped sources, the silhouette appeared to be not quite human. To make the investigation even more unsettling, sources tell us the woman appeared to be on some sort of witch hunt in Angel Grove. Sophomore Kailee Duncan saw the mysterious woman walking towards town and claims she appeared to be muttering to herself and seeking some very specific items in the area. This woman has been spotted running amuck all over town via social media. Here are some first-hand sightings from members of the student body here at AGHS.

While walking down the boulevard, senior Tracey Collins reported the below:

“I was shopping with my mom just before chaos broke out. Glass shattering and horrified screaming came from the shopping center on the corner. A crowd of panicked people came pouring out into the streets followed by a crazy lady!”

Freshmen Charlie Hounslow caught some haunting footage on social media of the suspect and provided a screenshot:

“I work at the Fishing Dock during summer break so I follow majority of the staff on social media. A Snapchat Story from one of my colleagues captured a contorted female body being pulled from the water. Initially she appeared to be lifeless, later in the video the figure suddenly jumped onto its feet with glowing green eyes!”

Sophomore Jenna Powell was eating lunch on Cinema Cafe’s terrace two blocks from the shopping center and captured the image below:

“I was at lunch with my family when we saw a strange woman walking in the middle of the street. We thought she must have been fleeing the mental institution because she was talking to herself in a strange voice and dressed like some sort of alien creature.”

We’re itching for more sightings so keep those smart phones handy, Tigers! Everyone is eager to see this ghoulish woman up close and behind bars. Good luck to whoever is responsible for taking down this lunatic and putting an end to the terror once and for all.

While a shameless promotion, yes, I’ve always wondered about stuff regarding acceptance of surrender and what that entails for a show about heroes fighting monsters. Obviously, a hero fighting a person over some sort of ideology is bound by certain rules of engagement. How does that apply to a creature that is by definition always chaotic evil? If you have someone cornered, and they are obviously on the verge of death by your hand, is there a responsibility to give them a chance for surrender, and does that change if they have little to no capacity to do so (not through disability but pure stubborn defiance and unrepentant evil)?
