I'm an electrical engineer and for the longest time I was saying that electricity and electronics isn't magic, but think about it.
You literally have to collect rare stones from remote locations, put them into specific formations to work. All of this gets written down in symbols which don't make sense to the uninformed. It gets powered by energy which can not be seen in most cases.
Like what else do you want. What's your standard for calling something magic.

I made these as a way to compile all the geographical vocabulary that I thought was useful and interesting for writers. Some descriptors share categories, and some are simplified, but for the most part everything is in its proper place. Not all the words are as useable as others, and some might take tricky wording to pull off, but I hope these prove useful to all you writers out there!
Thinking about twilight and watching random clips of people talking about it and someone brought up them being ice cold, and for some reason, my mind just kind of forgets that fact
And THEN now I'm thinking on it some more and I'm like
OK, how cold are they really? What type of cold?
Cause are they ice cold constantly? I'm imagining if I were to hold a hand, and eventually, it'll start to hurt a bit after a period of time and then wondering if holding hands with a twilight vampire long enough causes an ice burn
BUT ALSO, I'm wondering if their skin is ice cold. What about other things? If you kiss a twilight vampire with tongue, does it feel like idk a weird semi frozen gummy ice pop? Lmao just a silly thought, but like this goes to question twilight human vampire intimacy, like intimate times, but one person is so cold will it be uncomfortable or idk
Then again, they could be just like a cold rock, but with enough time, idk heat transference or something? But then again, can vampires warm up? If you put them near a fire like a rock, can they warm up like rocks? Or are they just perpetually cold?
(SECOND THOUGHT after thinking about the coldness of twilight vampire kiss? Went hold up, their kiss. Would it feel like a semi melting popsicle? Before thinking, wait, do twilight vamps even have saliva??? Cause like it'd just be vampire venom they have in their bodies? But then, also, if you kiss a vampire, is their mouth dry by intention of wanting to kiss, or will it be wet? If saliva is replaced with venom and a person kissing a vampire swapped spit and ingested some venom, would it sting like poison? or if it's just venom and it's ingested, would it mess up your body or be fatal? Then again, Bella seemed fine, I guess, but it's just the what ifs? How far does vamp venom go? If a vampire swaps spit and a human had a cut in their mouth, and the venom gets into a cut, do they get turned???)
