OWIE BALM | helping a friend out, making her some balms for her kids. only made with shea butter, beeswax and the goodness of pure essential oils to help with healing and soothing the skin. good with insect bites, little cuts and scrapes for little ones and a lovely smelling balm for for us adults too! 🌷 💦she had heard that tea tree oil spray was good for their skin too, so I offered to make her one for her kids. Just tea tree EO and water in the bottle. #thatsallinit 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think it’s really important to know what goes into the products we apply to our children and ourselves. the hottest day (for now!) is upon us in Melbourne and it being 40C outside, and we need to be focused on staying cool. wish I could hide indoors all day, but we are off to pickup my preppie from school in an hour! 👋 hello everyone! I haven’t done this, so thought it’s time I’d do a post to introduce myself 😊 My name is Hennley and I’m a mum of three active little ones aged 6, 3 and 8mo. I’ve a talented barista for a husband (yes, so coffee lucky!) and a little rescue dog. We live in Melbourne, Australia and I’m originally from KL, Malaysia. My favorite form of self-care is to drop on my favorite oils (Valor and Joy!) and have a quiet moment to myself which is rare. 🥰 My favorite show at the moment is Queer Eye: We’re in Japan and I’m loving how feel good the show is and yet so much fun for life and color! 🌈 My favorite music playlist at the moment (when I get to pick!) is some good ol’ rock and roll. I just let Google and Spotify do their job and they do it so well 🎶 I have to add that my current favorite food is curry chicken with fried meehoon, when a deep fried egg on top. we went in for dental surgery today, his third one (and so I thought I knew what to expect). But when he woke up - he was so upset. no amount of cuddling or singing or hugging was helping, and it broke my heart. I just held him as he kicked and cried 😔 . they said it’s normal for the kids to wake up that way, but I felt so awful seeing him that way. my brain finally kicked in and I rolled on our #feelbetterroller hoping it would help him calm down. It went onto the soles of his feet and wrists, and on my chest and daddy’s chest as we were both taking turns just holding him as he sobbed. 🍊 . A few minutes later, he stopped kicking and slowly stopped sobbing long enough to ask for Iris. hello spring 🌷 . I felt you arrive the day it was gorgeously sunny, with a lovely warmish breeze in the air. And along with it came... the sneezing and itchy eyes. I even forgot how to spell lol 🐝 . It’s my third year of sneezing in spring and the very moment I felt my nose and eyes start to itch, I dig out my sensational #springspecialroller. I also took a shot of Ningxia to help give my immune system a boost! Shortly after, it’s a #busyrmom day as usual and we are back to 100% and on the go.
