🙄 How to NOT Look Like a Tourist in Spain ✔️  1. Sangria is a summer drink 🍷 Sangria is that mythical drink that any foreigner wants to try when they come to Spain. However, you will look like a tourist if you order it in the winter because it is a summer drink. It is mostly served in tapas bars, so don't ask for it in a fine restaurant. Eat your paella for lunch🍴 If you don’t want to look like a tourist, refrain from paella for dinner. Besides, as any Spanish order it for dinner, you probably won't be able to find a really good one, just "paella for tourists".  3. Asking for a coffee? Be specific ☕ In Spain, if you want a coffee with milk, you order a “café con leche”. If you just order a coffee, they are likely to bring you an espresso: you will get this when you ask for "café solo". If you prefer American coffee (americano: long black coffee), then try ordering "café solo largo".
