Demonolatry: Eve is for Everyone By Pearl Satanachia
Eve is for everyone, regardless of one’s gender or sexuality. Eve is the mother of humanity in the Bible, but I work with Eve as a demon in my practice of demonolatry and Theistic Satanism. Connecting with Eve as a demon has helped me understand her energy, magic, and mythology outside of a heteronormative lens. She is a creatress, healer, and liberator in her own right. Eve is an opposer (Satan) of injustice and a teacher to the people who admire her and connect with her. That could be you, if you want it to be.
When most people think of Eve, they think of a woman who is cis and straight. According to the Bible, she created humanity with Adam, but that doesn’t mean she’s limited to the scope of heteronormativity. In fact, the more I contemplate Eve’s story and wisdom, the more certain I am that the power of Eve lies in all kinds of people, including trans women, non-binary people, and people who identify with femininity beyond the binary. To confine Eve to cis womanhood and sexuality is to have an incomplete view of all she encompasses and is capable of.
The masses tend to perceive Eve only as Adam’s subordinate because in the Bible, Yahweh made her from Adam’s rib. I experience Eve as more primordial in her presence and powers. I perceive Eve as the creative essence from which we all originate, not just a feminine dilution of Adam. Eve is just as much a part of Adam as he is a part of her. In my opinion, Eve’s origin story supports the existence and validity of trans people, non-binary people, and the LGBTQIA+ rather than rebukes it.
Eve is the mother of humanity. I believe her essence is in everyone, including trans people. Eve was punished for eating an apple from the Tree of Knowledge. I believe her spirit embraces and encourages knowledge and self-empowerment, especially for the people who are already oppressed. It only makes sense to me that she would connect with trans and non-binary people through liberation, knowledge, and transformation. Eve’s worship and spirit needn’t be exclusive to heterosexuality or heteronormativity as it so often is. Eve is just as alive within the LGBTQ+ as she is in the rest of humanity, if not more so, due to the oppression we face. I see Eve as our accomplice, not our oppressor.
When Eve bit into the forbidden apple, she chose knowledge over ignorance. Eve didn’t just take Yahweh’s word for it — She gained knowledge of the world around her and within her when she bit into that apple. Eve’s knowledge is forbidden knowledge because it includes knowledge of the self. Self-knowledge is the essential knowledge we need to grow and heal as individuals and as a community. Our oppressors don’t want us to bite the proverbial apple because we’ll taste liberation and eventually seek freedom from their control. In a world that demands conformity, queer and trans people are exercising our freedom to be ourselves. If Eve exists, then she is proud of us.
Eve gets plenty of blame for the pain and suffering that periods bring, but she seldom gets credit for her creative powers. People associate Eve with menstruation because periods are supposedly the “curse” of Eve. It’s certainly true that PMS and menstruation are hardships and even health problems for many. It’s also true that menstruation often plays an important role in creation. Through the shedding of old uterine lining, a new cycle can begin. If the curse of Eve is the pain of PMS and menstruation, then the blessings of Eve are healing and creation. Eve’s powers of creation include not only literal physical birth, but metaphorical and creative birth. That includes new art, poetry, literature, discoveries, projects, new relationships, new friendships, and so much more.
For so long, so many societies have demonized Eve for eating the apple from the Tree of Knowledge — and, in turn, demonized women as a result of that. But if she had followed Yahweh’s orders, humanity would not tangibly exist or have true free will. Eve exercised the freest will of all. Mythologically, Eve choosing to heed the snake’s advice and bite the forbidden apple was the first act of resistance and revolution. Eve deserves far more credit for the presence, prosperity, and free will on Earth that humankind enjoys, not sole blame and shame for our suffering and the pains of menstruation.
For centuries, people have used Eve’s story to rationalize sexism and violence against women as well as people perceived as women. It’s time to start celebrating Eve as a demon, a hero, and a defender of individuality, freedom, and human rights.

spongebob was probably a real person but i don't think he was the son of god
we know the historical SpongeBob existed in bikini bottom around may of 1999, but the actions and mythology attributed to him are riven with political influences. It's possible that many instances are also conflated with Squidward of Tarsus.
I hate the met galla. None of those people are important to me. My horsey is important to me.

I love that Rose was right here. Everyone brushed off her concerns about the status and treatment of the Ood, but the narrative eventually wound back around to them and completely vindicated her concerns.
