there is a recurring theme on supernatural of the bad guy acting physically invasive or having weird sexual tension with dean, while either looking like one of his parents, or being a sort of mentor or father figure themselves.

something about ownership, and playing into the idea that’s been ingrained in dean’s head (by his actual father) that his body is a piece of meat only there to be commodified. his body is not his and the only identity he’s ever been allowed to have was in the role he was told to play. the role of the caring son, of the dutiful soldier, of the vessel, the pawn, the puppet in someone else’s story. and this is intimately tied to the objectification of his body. the way he can never desire anything for himself. the way he is just there to be used by someone else. michael, alastair, god. he was created and brought up specifically to serve someone else. and while dean does rebel against his mind and free will being taken from him, he never fights for his body. he’s suffered so much physical pain, used his body as a shield, as bait, as a weapon so many times, that i don’t think he’s ever thought of his body as his to fight for.
