When you land on an event space, a blue Twomp drives thru, chasing you and anyone on the same part of the board toward the end.

If, however, someone has passed by a police station, they can bribe the officer on duty 5 coins to set up a speeding trap.

And, suddenly, the same space no longer summons a Twomp to try running you over, but a grey Whomp, in a scarier, bigger car, comes driving down the lane. It is driving at the same speed as the Twomp, yet is engaged in a chase by the Officer.

And in chasing the "speeder", the officer forces the characters to continue running twice as long. The presence of police, rather than making the board safer, makes it more dangerous. Not just because they have created a crime out of thin air, but because the reaction to that crime is dangerous itself!

Some one has asked If I could post the scale shapes I use for my scale brushes. So here are some of my most frequently used scale shapes. These brush tips only work on Clip Studio Paint and maybe Procreate. the gray ones work best on a soft light layer and the black and white ones work best with a multiply layer. They are in a PNG format so you should be able to extract the shapes easily. So now you can have fun making your own scale brushes.

I just got done watching "The Dinosaurs" on Netflix and I have to say the female allosaurus with the facial scar looked awfully familiar.

I've been developing a new shading technique involving vector shapes. this new method allows me to render with core shadows and bounce light almost automatically. Lite blending is needed at the end of the process but it cut my old render time in half and offers a flexible work flow. I will experiment more with this method in a finished piece soon.
