What a year this week has been.
It’s Monday.
It sure as hell is.
The earlier in the day Monday you reblog the funnier this gets
THIS OFFICE HAD ITS BLINDS UP AND THIS IS WHAT I SAW
i’m losing my mind. this is a high rise office building on the upper east side of manhattan. and the only piece of art on the wall in this office is a bikini clad anime girl with humongous bazookas that are bouncing out of sync. this can’t be real someone wake me up
I know this print, it’s actually considered a fine art piece! It’s clearly based on Takashi Murakami’s live-sized statue ‘Hiropon’:
Which, yes, she’s skipping rope with milk that she’s lactating from her bazongas. It’s actually part of a set, the other one being titled ‘Lonesome Cowboy’:
Which features a Cloud look-alike lassoing with his cum.
Murakami is well known for taking ‘low art’ subject matter (anime, hentai, penises) and placing them in ‘high art’ contexts. I actually saw Hiropon in personal with my own two eyes at the Denver Museum of Art back in 2009. A lot of what he does is satirical, and it’s honestly pretty funny to see pictures of his artwork in American museums, surrounded by confused white baby boomers.
That said, without the context, it DEFINITELY slaps you in the face and makes you question what the fuck is going on. Had I not found out who he was in college, Hiropon would still haunt me as the most confusing thing I’ve ever seen in a museum.
god thank you for explaining this but also i’m still being slapped in the face as i type
NOTHING is funnier to me than the fact that Dumbledore literally designed the PERFECT protection for the Philosopher’s Stone but still let the McGonagall enchant a giant chess set and Snape make a Legend of Zelda puzzle purely for the DRAMA of it all. And y'all say Dumbledore wasn’t ever visibly gay.
Dumbledore when Snape and McGonagall came to him with their suggestions, knowing FULL WELL how unnecessary they were:
Flitwick, approaching nervously: Dumbledore, I heard that Snape and McGonagall are helping, and I’d like to design a – Dumbledore: – a room filled with enchanted keys. Flitwick: – a room filled with enchanted keys! Dumbledore:
Who wants to see an extremely rude looking diagram from wikipedia?
They’re sawfish teeth, of course! What else would they be?
this is what david tennant looks like in that gay angel demon show
*goes to make a personal post* actually you know what never mind better internalize this shit
great graphic, very helpful for selecting apples in regard to baking, but one amendment should be considered:
a red delicious isn’t an apple it’s a wet clump of bitter sand
red delicious is what floral foam probably tastes like if it were edible
Voter suppression is on the rise. Again. And unsurprisingly, it’s Republicans who are doing it.
I would like to point out that, this isn’t Russia doing this. It isn’t China. These aren’t Russian bots. These are Republican politicians and the disproportionately white voters who very reliably support their draconian policies.
In the 2016 election Republican legislators enacted racist voter ID laws, then they closed down driver’s license offices near black communities so that the required ID was harder to get, they closed down record numbers of polling places in black neighborhoods, they used the Supreme Court to gut the Voting Rights Act, they purged thousands of eligible, legally registered black people from voter rolls, they used gerrymandering to dilute the vote of black people, and Republicans continue to use mass incarceration as another indirect means of voter suppression.
I’ve said it before and Imma keep on saying it: Republicans are a bigger threat to progress, social justice and democracy than any foreign power could ever hope to be.

Hope everyone is well today !
And tomorrow !!!!
After that you’re on your own

Late tonight a bunch of staff are playing a game called role call and if you thought fugitive was wild just w a i t until i tell you how this goes cause role call is absolutely terrifying
We aren’t letting the campers play it so that lets us up the scare factor by 147%
Ok so the game had to be pushed back a few days so we can figure out scheduling so heres the gist of it.
The more people you have for this game, the better. It has to happen at night. The people get into a straight line, and begin to walk in that line all around the area. They cannot turn around and look at each other, and cannot speak; with the exception of the person at the front of the line.
That persons job is to begin the role call. They simply say, “Role Call!” And their name, then each person down the line says their name in turn.
Here’s the kicker: there’s one person not included in the line. The Taker. They have the job of stealing away the person at the end of the line as silently as possible. The game’s sole purpose is to instill a sense of fear and paranoia in whoever is in front, because as more people get taken, there are less and less people to say their names during the Role Call.
The front person decides when they want to start the Role Call. Obviously, the more often it’s said, the less scary it is. But as more and more people disappear, they become Takers and can then do more damage than just the one.
Some Takers can replace the person they stole, making the person directly in front of them either incredibly paranoid or safe. At least until the Role Call. Takers cannot say anything during it, so it usually ends up more terrifying to know that the person behind you is silent. Again, everyone in the line cannot make a sound except responding to the Role Call.
The game is over when the person in front is taken. There is no winning, only waiting. Waiting for your turn to go. Imagine the fear that person in front has, when they softly announce “Role Call” only to find that everyone behind them is gone.
Not exactly a game for the weak willed.
My reactions to this, in order 1. What The Hell Kind of Creepy Horror Movie Punishment Game Bullshittery is this?
2. I want to play it Right The Fuck Now.
