If I wanted to deep it.

Silver's quills are consistently depicted as floppier and more supple and malleable in comparison to Sonic's, Shadow's, and Amy's. Almost more like flowing hair than rigid spine.

If a hedgehog's quills don't harden fully, it's usually due to poor nutrition. A lack of essential vitamins or nutrients in their diet can prevent their keratin-based quills from fully hardening.

It leaves the quills soft, light-colored, and a bit translucent, like a hoglet's.

A side effect of growing up in a fiery Hell and spending his formative years scrounging up artificially-flavored centuries-old military rations.

Which makes it even cooler how his quills stiffen and straighten up when he's using his powers. It's like a defense mechanism that makes up for the lesser physical defense he has compared to the other hedgehogs.

The old Infra vs the one from @incorrect-sonic-lore

I haven't actually touched Infra in ages but I wanted to go over some lore about the old one. (Also I love the design they made in response to my ask, it's gorgous)

Infra's name comes from the term Infrasonic (Or Infrasound) which is a sound frequency below 20 Hz

Infra was originally male then became female- but honestly to this day I still don't know what the hell Infra's gender is. (I usually settle for any)

And they were a Sonadow Fanchild. That's kinda it I didn't have a lot for them :P

He had a sister named Infra the Hedgehog. The reason he's never mentioned her was because they were separated at birth due to Iblis. But now that lil worm dude no longer exists- Silver suddenly has a sibling he is not aware about.

Now if you'll excuse him, he needs to go have another moral crisis.

The response to someone saying they are "Lesbian/Gay" when you ask someone out should never be: "What if I'm trans?"

Because that'll just make them want to date you less.

Now if you are ACTUALLY trans, that's a different story. Trans rights and all that.

This is coming from a personal experience when a Cis guy asked me that. And that was his response.

And he was the guy who I would never date no matter his gender.
