I am desperate for otome game

Hello I would like otome recommendation please.

I played a lot of otome game but it been a while because life gotten in the way. Now I would like to take one again but I am a bit overwhelmed with every new release since I stopped

-> what device to I have : PC (steam) and switch.

->What language I am ok with : I speak English and French

-> I am ready to pay to like 70$ max

-> what did I played what I liked what I didn’t

I played a lot of games. I liked most of them.

My favorites are Cupid parasite : I loved the banter between the characters, the humor, the fluff and the character development.

Collar x malice : I loved the plot, the FEELINGS, the talk about how to grief and how to going forward, and the pace of it. I played the FD too, liked the fluff and the domestic vibe with character who didn’t really got that chance in the first one.

I like Dairoku because cool Japanese folklore and lovable side character. I loved variable barricade with the mc all fierce the funny banters and the story.

Lover pretend was fun but a bit lacking romance wise for me (except Sena’s route)

Code realize was my first otome and it made me love the genre, I liked the scénario, the vanter between character and Impey.

Café enchanté was SO cute and I loved the non human LI and the fluff of the relation mixed with the heavy past of the LI.

I played BUSTAFELLOW and I really loved the game with the relationship between every character but beside shu and helvetica I found it a bit lacking romance wise (even if I love mozu) I will probably play the FD but I often don’t like FD because I find the lack of direction boring.

Variable barricade is definitly one of my fav: funny, good build up in the romance, good characters

I found birushana forgettable (never really hitted with me), Jack Jeanne was more a visual novel for me (lacking a bit of romance ) even if I deeply loved the story and the music. The FD of Cupid parasite never really took with me. I did only ryuki for now and I found the drama useless giving the first game. I would probably get to do the other character one day.

In what I didn’t like definitly too heavy stuff especially bad treatment toward the mc. I didnt really liked piofiore , especially yang with the more heavy stuff like non con or things like that. For the same reason Olympia soirée was super triggering for me. If it is in a backstory like in collar in malice I don’t mind, but I like fluff more honestly. I am not agaisnt smut either.

I like both, for me a good game can balance both. But I would say romance because I like when the plot is quite silly or unimportant I don’t need a big reveal. Even if I really loved collar x malice and BUSTAFELLOW

Himbo, definitely. Tsundere and flirty characters.

My favorites are Ryuki, Allan and Raul from Cupid parasite , Takeru and Shiraishi from collar x malice , Nayuta and Taiga from variable barricade, Sena from lover pretend.

I like fated love too, or love stronger than fate, slice of life (to make it fun )

No- con, maybe an mc too “weak” at everything (if it is logical with her background I don’t mind but I get annoyed to see the mc helpless when I been told she is a good fighter for example ). Relationship going to fast, I like a good build up , characters slowly getting to know each other, not necessarily slow burn. I know that fandisk exist for

I'm not gonna articulate this well, but there's this phenomenon I keep seeing on the left that I'll call "bean soup rhetoric," wherein someone fails to understand that they are not the target audience for a particular message, or just can't conceptualize why a speaker would craft their message differently to resonate with a target audience that doesn't already completely agree with them.

"The 'God Made Trans People' billboard is stupid! God didn't make me! I'm an atheist!" Okay. The billboard sits along a major highway in Kansas. We can deduce that the target audience is not you—it's the centrist evangelical Christians driving along that road who could probably be persuaded to become allies as long as we choose our words carefully and don't make them feel attacked for not already knowing everything about trans rights issues. Another one I see a lot is, "We shouldn't be talking about how right-wing legislation catches [privileged in-group] in the crossfire when [marginalized out-group] suffers far more!" I know. I agree with you. Which is why you and I are not the intended audience of this argument!

The entire point of rhetoric is to win over someone who doesn't already fully agree with you. In this case, let's say that someone is Jennifer, the moderate center-right mom in your neighborhood who doesn't really know or care about transgender issues but would be absolutely horrified by the idea of her teenage daughter having to submit to an invasive inspection of her body just to be allowed to play soccer. Tell her, "Banning trans students from sports will inevitably subject all student athletes to invasive gender-policing," or "Legal restrictions on gender-affirming care will make it harder for you to access the hormone replacement therapy you take to treat menopause symptoms," and she is more likely to question her existing beliefs and listen to the rest of what you have to say than if you lead with leftist talking points that she already has a calcified opinion about or which she thinks do not personally affect her.

Tailoring the argument to the things she already cares about does not mean we're forgetting that she has more privilege than most—entirely the opposite, in fact. A privileged ally can be extremely valuable. Jennifer votes in every election. And so do all the other ladies at her book club, and church, and in the PTA, and those folks listen to Jennifer. There's a reason both parties were courting suburban women so hard in the last election cycle!
