when people bemoan the "falling birth rate" all i hear is someone who has very likely made a large part of their personality their Desire To Kill All Pedophiles being sad about a 20-year global decrease in child rape. sorry but you are not serious people to me.

like do you know why the birth rates have plummeted GLOBALLY since 2007? aggressive intervention against grown men impregnating children. literally, that is what it is. the birth rate decrease is attributed to teen pregnancy rates falling dramatically all around the world in the past two decades, and statistically, over half of all births to teen mothers (particularly those under 15) are fathered by men over 20. the falling birth rate is quite literally a reflection of a worldwide decrease in children being forced to carry an adult rapist's fetus to term. you will never convince me that this is a negative thing.

Just a couple days ago Fox News had a segment complaining about falling birth rates, and they specifically cited data about teen pregnancy. They just dropped the act and went full “more teenagers need to get pregnant.”

Id encourage everyone reading this post to research Urbanization and its effect on populations in literally any region on the globe. There is a lot of documentation on birth rate decline including causes from rural decline and cost of living. Urbanization has not simply stopped to allow the post above to be the major cause. While underage pregnancies have in fact dropped, I find it hard to believe that a 2% global drop in birthrate since 2000 [as a result of the decline in underage pregnancies] constitutes a plummet, nor does it constitute as the reason for the drop in global birthrate (which has been dropping for decades), as is so sensationally worded in this post.

This is actually such a crucial part of healing from neglect and abuse and I have to add to this.

Because indeed, people who like you will not roll their eyes and sigh at the idea of accommodating your needs, they will value your voice and be upset with you about injustice done to you, not at you for "being difficult". They will be happy when you find a way to live a better life, and help you to get there. If you are struggling, someone who loves you wants to see you smile, not tell you to smile because "you have it so good".
