Lore for my DnD Campaign/Comic vv

I have been possessed and now I have a God* of Law. I wanted them to represent an older version of Law/Justice, cause im my world there is a more refined legal system in place.

I was super inspired by classic lady justice, but my blorbo is gender neutral, they just happen to posses a boob. All my Gods* are mostly gender neutral cause they represent concepts, and concepts are predominantly gender neutral.

The Scholar: Has multiple eyes to represent their multitude of viewpoints. They carry the classic scales, but also a scroll of knowledge. They are the only set with claws: why you ask? knowledge is sharp idk...

The Warrior: They are the predominant set of arms because they are the one to enact Justice, they are the feet on the ground. But they are led by and follow the directions of The Lord arms.

The Lord: Also known as the King, the Monarch, or just the Leader. They are blind because in decision-making they must approach a situation pragmaticly. They are also the weakest set of arms, but they have the gentle touch, the tact to lead the other sets. They are informed by the scholar, and lead/tell the warrior what to do.

* Technically there are no gods in my world, just Spirits and Major Spirits. The gods died and divided their power so the Spirits could be made. They found that their nature did not grow and change, so they made things that grew and changed with their set culture : i.e. Spirits. They litterally are and represent their culture's concept, so in this example they represent the old law of Alderis(one of the main continents), and split off from modern law in the new era.

Major spirits: Represent big concepts: Time, Entropy, Magic, Death, Culture, ect. change the least, and have the most agency over their shape **

Minor spirits: Small concepts like a specific forest or stuff like Whimsey or Cats.

** Spirits change shape depending on the people they are around because of how that person views that concept. But Major spirits gets to keep a certain shape most of the time, unless the larger culture views that concept differently: THEN they get soupy. Though Majors spirits can just change shape accourding to the person to get personal with someone, or for funsies :D

In the middle of rendering and I figured I would share, cause Avery just fucking chilling while Der is loading in all confused just fucking tickles me.

I wassss gonna do proper Roman shoes, the ones with nails in them. But decided on turn shoes cause a e s t h e t i c. Plus he is rocking the cape with a feathery pinnacular broach, been seeing some more historically accurate stuff, which pleases my little historical garb nerd heart. Just gotta fuck with the folds more so it looks like the broach is broaching. though im glad he is gonna wear a sweater here, because I don't wanna figure out any more historical armor and how it would get timey wimey from Ser King in Yellow ;<;

So far for my take on the design im going for is definately the swirly bits! I love the more intricate designs people have gone for and I wanna lean into it.

On 18 November 2016 Pokemon Sun and Moon were officially released. Together with their DLC-like counterparts Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon released a year later on November 17 2017, these titles marked the end of the pokemon nintendo 3DS era.

For 9 years now this region has continued to bring me joy and spark my imagination, inspiring a fancomic that I've still been updating to this day. Now we're officially celebrating the games with a voice-acted Pokemon Moon Playthrough and ONE huge pokedex illustrated by the whole community! :D

My final submission for @elbdot's Sprite Event!!! Uni has been kicking my ass so homeboy got done at like...... 2am?

There were final sprites to get finished which were uber optional, and I wanted to do a bit of a study with big wonky perspective, and study how Shadow of the Colossus does colors and stuff. Wanted to garner that kinda vibe.

Everyone: Please please please don't write your books in Google Docs. Frankly don't use Google Drive for personal stuff.

Their terms of service say they take down stuff like content related to terrorism and trafficking, but this Google Sheet was literally a list of movies I'd watched this year and books I'd read.

Holy smokes, guys. It's way worse than I thought. Google actually took away access to every single file of fiction writing I'd made on that account. BUT I backed it all up on Scrivener yesterday by coincidence. So I haven't lost my work, but I could have just lost the 12,000 words I've written this month after a year of really intense writer's block. I honestly don't know what that would have done to my psyche.

That is awful! If you're looking for a gdocs-like replacement, Ellipsus @ellipsus-writes is an explicitly queer friendly, anti-AI equivalent with online syncing and sharing - I've been using it for almost a year now as a replacement for gdocs and absolutely love it. They are pro-fanfic, so much so that they have a dedicated "export to Ao3" option that preserves all your formatting. They don't have an app (yet) but you can add it to your home screen via your mobile browser if you want.

I do still back up all my work to local storage on LibreOffice (free to download, Microsoft Office equivalent) too though, thank goodness you backed up to Scrivener OP!

ALOLA EVERYONE!

I have a special announcement for you all! :D On July 1st I will be hosting a special Livestream for my Birthday: I will start a Let's Play of the original POKEMON MOON!

While illustrating my webcomic "El's Alolan Adventures", I've often been told by a lot of readers that, despite being fans of the comic, they actually aren't familiar with the original story of the Sun & Moon Games the comic is based on! So I'll be starting a playthrough of Pokemon Moon so we can experience the story together!

Now HERE is where you guys get directly involved in the stream: Like many other Pokemon Let's Plays, we will have active images of the pokemon currently in our party on-screen during the gameplay. The idea is that, instead of using the official Pokemon sprite art, YOU GUYS get to draw the Pokemon sprites we'll be using! We need YOUR simple, silly, cute or whacky doodles of ALL Pokemon found in the Alola region! :D And THIS IS HOW WE'RE GONNA DO IT:

HOW TO JOIN

To prevent the potential chaos of everyone drawing the same Pokemon, you will need to join our Discord server to officially apply for a Pokemon you want to draw! We're opening free 1-week trials on my Patreon for the entirety of June, so people can temporarily join our Discord to apply for the event!

We will have a chatroom open where you can share which Pokemon you'd like to draw, but you must list at least 3 alternatives in case the Pokemon of your choice has gotten assigned to someone else!

You mainly need to be on the server for the assignment-period. Once you've gotten a Pokemon assigned, we will send you a friend-request so you can DM us your Sprite, should your free server-trial run out before you finished your entry.

You will have till June 27th to submit your Pokemon sprite! For now we're aiming to cover all Pokemon inhabiting Melemele island, since we will be spending quite some time on that island before moving on to the next!

And since we won't be actively using ALL Pokemon in our Pokemon Moon Let's Play, we will feature EVERY sprite submission with credits in a gallery at the end of the stream! Should we be missing sprites at the end for a Pokemon we end up using, we will simply use the official art of said Pokemon, but we're looking forward to every sprite submission you'll send our way!!
