The Witch‘s Spell

So… I guess I should explain to the void what the story is about.

So basically the story and characters are all inspired by multiple figures from fairytales and folklore. (Heavy emphasis on inspired, don’t worry while the influences of the characters and story arcs will be recognizable there won’t be any direct retelling of the original folktales) It‘s still very much a coming of age story

The story of The Witch‘s Spell follows our main character Ziv, who is the eldest Magnetar of Soluna and really just wants everything to stop spiralling out of her control. However all hopes of that go out the window when local pigeon enjoyer and half-fairy witch Lisha crosses her path and just keeps leaving a trail of chaos and very complicated feelings in her wake.

Shenanigans ensue (threatening)

In other words this is a very peaceful story with no emotional betrayals, no generational trauma and no one gets hurt. Promise 🙂

„Okay this character is an oddball, just an absolute silly goose, a little strange to everyone they come across and they have these specific attributes in their appearance that underline that fact…“

And then you‘ve finished drawing them, you are looking at your creation.
