Commission: Not Today

A commission for my dear friend @padmabhujaga who this year introduced me to wild world of K-pop. This is inspired by a BTS song of the same name.

K-pop is a gorgeous wilderness of absolute chaos. When it’s bad, it is REALLY fuckin weird, but when it’s good…(BTS) God damn those are some truly catchy jams. This piece will serve as a nice anthem of defiance to start the year off.

Commission: Anniversary

A large commission I did for my dear friends @alwaysaleila and @padmabhujaga for their anniversary. I’ve drawn these two as monsters in the past, and they wanted something of their 2 characters with a fall theme. They’re two of the most loving and supportive friends a person could ever ask for, and they deserve all the happiness in the world <3

Let me introduce you to Atreides! Named after the House Atreides in the Dune books, this guy is based on a dream I saw him in. I figured the name was fitting what with The Sleeper Has Awakened. ;D He's a mix of Persian Fallow Deer, Golden Eagle, Saluki, and Goat (Jamnapari)! This was done about a month ago right before I had to leave for a therapy appointment. Was having a lot of spiraling thoughts and emotions that day so I decided to work through it with art. My Olde Ghost, he is my strength.

Took some time yesterday for myself to just draw something for fun! I've had some chipboard pieces lying around that I've been itching to use. So! I decided to sketch out a Kitsune looking rather gleeful and mischievous. I really like how this turned out so I'll be doing more practice with chipboard~ Marker. Colored Pencil. Ink. 7.18.2016.

Forgot to upload these here! My spouse and I have some werewolfy feels about our werewolf pack. So I sketched out a few of them as both a gift and also indulging in how much I love theeeeem~

The boys in human form are Eun-Ji (spouse’s character with glasses) and his mate, Chae. The other pair are Baekhyun (spouse’s character) and his mate, Hyun Jin with flowers.

Whew! So I’m gearing up for a lovely water influenced commission and was paid a visit by Pale. Not very often I draw her/them so I spent a lot of my day focused on working with her.

I used watercolor pencils for the first time ever, so taking my time and finding peace in working with a new medium is cathartic. <333

A commission done for my lovely friends as a belated anniversary/valentines day gift~!

She wanted something inspired by Howl’s Moving Castle of her wolfishness and her partner. This was SO much fun for me to do and I could go on and on about how much I LOVE the concept. From sketch to inks I was loving every minute of it. HMC is one of my favorite movies in the universe and of course being able to talk about it and with Wolf is awesome. ; u ; The background is actually based on an area I used to live in that had perfect old brick Victorian houses, a lovely park, and cobblestone streets. I took so many pictures of that neighborhood when I lived there, so yay reference!

There were a lot of symbols and sentiments placed into this for them both, and I hope I captured all of it. Perfect couple, OTP, I love them forever~
