Not to be a Lance - Stan or anything

But next to Coran, Lance is the 2nd most reliable person in Voltron.

Think about it.

He moved on to Red and accepted the role of Red Paladin. He was happy that Allura is Blue’s Paladin, because he knows she needs this. He accepted that Keith wasn’t on the team anymore and didn’t try to stop him. He gives cautious advice that Shiro doesn’t listen to (if it was Keith, Shiro would have listed ). Lance best friend is Hunk and he understands the big lug, so much so they talk about romance. With Pidge, he was there to help her with getting Gak for a video game (which he stole later on from her) and kept an eye on her at the Garrison. With Coran, he’s there to support him on his plans and ideas and clean around the castle.

Lance is a Hella a lot more mature and wise people give him credit for. He’s not weak. He’s not a cry baby. He’s not the fanon Lance everyone wants him to be (yeah, no).

Lance is Lance.

So little fun headcanon - Ezor and Acxa lived on the same colony\station and were sorta one sided rivals until that one time they both saved Lotor out of some trouble he got himself into and were offered the positions as his generals.

Underestimating Lance is not the smartest of moves- he may be a goofball on the surface, but in reality he’s one of the most crucial and powerful members of Voltron. No, not because he’s the Sharp-Shooter or anything, he’s even greater than that.

In the end, I firmly believe he’s the team’s Bard. And all of his failed flirting and everything up to this point in the series has just been him getting the worst roles. But when things get close, at some point, I am positive that he’s gonna get that one role that gets the main villain on their side, and pretty much save the campaign for the team.

…Ok I don’t know if that’ll actually happen, but I’m really really hopeful. And, again like in one of my previous posts, I just really want Lotor to be the one person out of everyone they’ve met to find Lance attractive and think his jokes are funny. xD
