-The writers were originally planning on killing off Shiro and the LGBT rep was stated from the start, so even with Shadam/Adashi being canon they can still make the big rep they were planning from the start

-Im guessing Shiro still has a chance with Adam, otherwise they wouldn't have shown the flashbacks + when Shiro heard the word "home" he thought of Adam so he def still loves him
