I was watching Sound of Music (wasn't sleepy, needed nostalgia and Julie Andrews to sing me to sleep lol) and during the Do Re Mi scene, just watching Julie take off full sprint after the boys got me so nostalgic for the days I could just...do that 😅 My knees are way too fucked for it now, but I still yearn to just take off sometimes!

I think the last time I ran like that was 10ish years ago. We got caught in a sudden downpour, and we all just took our flip flops off (they were soaked and slippery anyways) and bolted for our destination 😂 it was so fun! (To be clear we absolutely did not have to do that lol we weren't late or anything, and the rain felt great after the extremely hot day we'd had)

#not sure when exactly i got zoomies last (and if it would count as ''very recently'' or not) but like. it was this year at some point #went past 2 years or less to be safe #though honestly last time i had to bolt for a train felt Real Fuckin Good it gave the same satisfaction as zoomies run #i was wearing flipflops and ended up getting a blister but. hashtag worthit

#unfortunately i was unable to avoid it completely but i anything i heard or saw was fully against my will #i was on a student trip to basel that weekend #and like. a good chunk of the ppl were pretty big eurovision fans so they played the music on the bus on the way back #and after glow in the dark minigolf in fancy clothing (dw abt it) we sat in the lobby for a while. tv was on.#at some point they switched it to ice hockey and i got Invested... and then they switched it back :(#didnt hear or see a lot that night as 1. ppl were yappin and 2. i left with the first group (no going alone after dark)#so i tried my damnedest but it was quite literally impossible #wait actually i left with the 2nd group technically. 1st was the fans leaving early to attend a watch party at some restaurant #besides the whole eurovision aspect of it we were also leaving the next day at like 10am so i wanted to pack my things and get some sleep #considering eurovision usually doesnt end before like. 2am #used to love eurovision but yeah no im avoiding that shit until israel is gone at the very least
