you've never seen someone dissociate faster than me when this song comes on, iykyk.
It’s supposed to be 2+ 2 Im an idiot how is anyone supposed to get that math right?!?
A medicated Simon and concerned Grace , poor Simon is just confused and scared
First Previous Next
I realize now I should have added Rocky’s walk areas but alas
Bonus:
the fact that grace and simon would canonically be disabled4disabled is so important to me actually.
simon rubbing lotion into grace’s burn scars. grace walking simon through mirror therapy. the two of them doing a daily exercise regimen together to keep their joints healthy in erid’s gravity, helping each other with tough stretches and pausing for kisses. one of them having a bad pain day where they can’t get out of bed and the other tending to them with a smile. the thousand little gestures of love and care throughout the day — drawing a warm bath, bringing a favored drink and a handful of medications, massaging a knot out of a muscle, commiserating about the bad moments and celebrating the good ones.
and the sex too, because disabled people can and do have sex and we should be allowed to feel sexy about the ways we accommodate ourselves.
grace fucking simon and quickly realizing that his hip/thigh muscles just aren't having it today, so they flip over, letting grace lay back against the bed while simon rides him. the muscles in simon's left arm flexing while grace blows him, a sign that he'd be gripping grace's hair if he still had the hand. one of them randomly experiencing a pain flare in the middle of sex so they pause, the other giving them a therapeutic massage for however long they need, the mood never once shifting from sensual and heated. wearing braces and pain relief patches during sex and not only not ignoring them, but appreciating them, caressing them. sex on a day where neither of them has the strength to leave bed, where all they can do is press their bodies together and kiss and slowly chase that pleasure.
Rocky, gesturing to Grace: Get a load in this guy, statement.
Grace: Um- Rocky, that's- it's "get a load of this guy", not-
Rocky: Rocky saying same thing. Rocky not sure what Grace problem is.
Bonus*
Simon, already unbuckling his pants: Well, if you insist!
I've been bitten by the BloodyMary bug! These little guys have wormed their way into my brain and won't let go. This is a reverse AU inspired by @kacklepop's post here.

Your story has broken my heart. And it's written so fudging good. Cheese and Rice. No spoilers but I am love with Simon in this. Please go read this reverse AU!!!!!!
Started with just the idea of Grace laying on Rocky’s ball while they talk about their love lives and now it’s almost 4am and I have drawn a shirtless Simon and now rocky preforming a sensual interpretive dance… this is getting away from me.
I wrote. I hated it. Wrote again, hated it even more. Now I'm writing again, and I like it. This is the most irritating shit.
guess what? I fucking hate it again with a passion of thousand dying suns.
while I avoid writing, I had a thought.
I feel there is a huge need for soft men in fiction. I don't care what kind of soft you want, Soft in actions, Soft in emotions, Soft in body or Soft in aesthetic, gimme some pretty pretty please with sugar and maple syrup on top. Thank you.
My post about transfems having periods is getting a bit of traction again, but mostly for the wrong reasons since TERFs have gotten their hands on it, so another friendly reminder that trans women/fems or anyone on estrogenizing HRT tend to experience period or period-like symptoms due to their hormonal cycle and referring to it as their period is not only a perfectly accurate description but also none of your godamn business. Menstruation is only one part of a period, not the whole thing, and not every period comes with menstruation in the first place, even if you’re a cis woman.
Trans women can have periods, and instead of interrogating them on why you think that’s not possible, instead ask them questions such as “how can I help?” or “what do you need?” or “do require chocolate, painkillers and/or a very comfortable blanket and a movie?”
pro tip! if you ever get stuck on your project just fucking cry man. get it out, it's okay
This is what I meant by how a lot of white supremacy is projection.
"I feel like my penis/my Manhood as a symbol is smaller than Black man's" becomes "Black men have oversized penises and are sexually insatiable beasts."
"I am sexually attracted to, fetishizing, and feel entitled to Black women's bodies" becomes "well she's asking for it, look at how she looks, Black women are always more openly sexual."
"I am afraid of approaching Black men" becomes "Black men are a threat."
"I am afraid of approaching Black women" becomes "Black women are always angry."
"I am not smart enough/not qualifed enough/can't beat my white counterparts professionally" becomes "DEI and affirmative action are letting those Blacks steal my position in school/jobs!"
Your own fears and insecurities about yourself somehow become a reflection of my humanity, when it had nothing to do with anything. And somehow enough people think that and now it's systemic instead of the made up nonsense it always was. Ijeoma Oluo called it mediocrity, James Baldwin called racism the white man's problem, and they remain correct.

"Dogwhistles" are called that based on real "dog whistles", many of which are pitched too high to be audible to most humans, but are still perfectly audible to dogs.
Rhetorical dogwhistles are things that most people would not be able to identify as bigoted because they're INTENDED to have plausible deniability.
The wording changes are meant to be subtle enough that people really can mix them up accidentally when they don't have much information!
So when the gender critical movement calls trans women "transwomen", they're hoping for 2 things.
this usage will spread enough among people who don't know any better, to give transphobes the plausible deniability of not LOOKING like a frothing bigot constantly.
the usage grammatically places trans women in a different category than other women; it's changing "trans" from an adjective to part of a noun to make this distinction.
The more we can avoid this usage, the less deniability have transmisogynists have when using it, and the less rhetorical ground we cede to the degendering and misgendering of trans women.
I don't actually think ceding this ground is LESS divisive than pointing it out politely.
I would take a job pushing the Sisyphus rock if it paid 20 an hour and I could wear my headphones
I live a very balanced life of noticing things nobody else does and not noticing the things that literally everybody notices
