any other invisibly disabled people really struggle to use the disabled bathrooms 😭

if there is a queue i quite genuinely need to use it, but when other people leave the queue for the regular ones to use the disabled i have no idea if they are also invisibly disabled so i never like, interrupt and say i need it yk djshjd

i do wear my sunflower lanyard but random people in bathroom queues rarely know what that means

just pls if ur able bodied i understand it may be annoying to wait in the queue but if you dont need the disabled bathroom pls dont use it

I think you’re right. This is the cruelest part of it all, that we’ve learned to call pain “endurable” only because there’s something worse.

It’s heartbreaking that war has forced us to measure pain to decide which loss hurts more when all of it is unbearable.

I do really think that the use of ChatGPT and genAI by students highlights the fundamental flaw of our education system focusing almost entirely on grades and test scores rather than generating curiosity and inquiry, which produces individuals who fundamentally do not understand that the purpose of an assignment is meant to be to learn *how* to do something, not simply to produce a product you can turn in to get an A+

Nothing makes me angrier than the “Minimum wage jobs are intended for teenagers, of course adults can’t live off the wages, they should get real jobs.” bullshit. Not only are you pro child labor but you’re pro underpaying children for their labor? Talk about how most of us can never legally transition because even if legal transition is an option it's typically restricted to the binary.

Talk about how even non-binary gender markers which seem like the solution actually force us into a double bind of either misgendering ourselves constantly or outing ourselves constantly.

Talk about how there is no way to "pass" as non-binary and that the only way to be stealth is to be closeted one way or the other.

Talk about how "non-binary" as a term was meant to be an umbrella term for a myriad of gender identities but was forcibly homogenized into one "third gender" by others.

Talk about how the MOGAI movement which sought to give names to the wide breadth of gender identity and experience was relentlessly mocked both by transphobes and other trans people alike, abandoned by our own communities because our identities were "too weird."

Talk about the slur "theyfab" and its misogynistic and transmisogynistic usage. Talk about how it contributes to the rampant erasure of amab non-binary people and treats all non-binary people as "whiny little wome- i mean afabs."

Talk about exorsexism. Talk about oppositional sexism. Talk about how they hurt us, how they hurt all trans people.
