Tamon being a Vocaloid producer and a Vtuber fan was NOT on my bingo card
Introducing people to alien stage is a pain because they'll never understand what it was like to sit with the implications and foreshadowing and symbolism and lore for MONTHS on end between each round and having so much time to digest the deaths of each character. Like all you have to do to get into alnst is watch it but that's honestly not enough to understand the whole story nor feel the true impact of each plot development. Because each round is so short in comparison to a standard animation episode, I feel like new fans don't absorb as much information before moving onto the next round. It's a privilege to be able to watch everything in one go but I think it comes at a cost of emotional impact. Seeing the rollercoaster that was the final round then waiting for MONTHSSSS to be told hey!! Till actually survived!! was an INSANE yet integral experience to watching alnst imo. Just seeing everything in one go isn't the same because to new fans he just got shot, skipped an episode and hey he's alive again!! Like you don't know the PAIN of reading into every little thing between round 6 and karma to see he's alive or having Vivinos drop a comic of Till and his mom a whole MONTH later to really rub salt in the wound and have it FESTER AND FESTER UNTIL THEY RELEASED THE NEXT EP UGHAUAUGAHAHUH.
This is an oldhead take for sure but seeing my friend treat it like short form content to get through to enjoy the fan content instead of a layered message about what love is like in a dystopia makes me want to rip my hair out. Have fun watching it yes but take the time to really absorb what you're watching, it'll add so much more depth to your experience I PROMISE
Today's post gonna come real sudden and late but y'all will be happy to know it's a bunch of bullshit as per usual
Reread the young exorcist arc. I'm back in the building again
Sick and twisted that Aida DELIBERATELY gave Tsukasa 'vessel for the red house entity' Yugi a shirt that says PUPPET in BIG BOLD letters
How it feels to go through creative burnout

Fun fact! Tatsuki Fujimoto, author of works like look back and chainsaw man, has read tbhk and ships Hanakou ā¤ļø
HAPPY NEW YURIā¼ļøā¼ļø
Themes and such...
Without exaggeration this is EXACTLY what my fic Take a Bite is about
Tomorrow either chainsaw man part two ends or the entire thing does and honestly with ANY other series it wouldāve been obvious that itās only the end of part two but Fujimoto is so unpredictable this genuinely could be it
The fact that he said he wanted csmās ending to be similar to the big Lebowski where things are left unresolved and like ānothing mattersā doesnāt help either
So. About that
After seeing how csm and beastars ended please tbhk AidaIro PLEASE stick the landing
What the fuck
