listen i love greta thunberg i really do like what an icon BUT i think it’s absolutely ridiculous that she, a literal child, is being made to be the face of stopping climate change. and she obviously thinks its ridiculous too. i’ve seen so many adults in power talking about how inspirational she is and everything, and then pretty much just stop there. it is EMBARRASSING that the 4.5 billion people over the age of 30 on earth right now are looking to one teenager to fix the problems they created. it’s not inspirational, it’s pathetic. Common blood pressure pill could slow down Alzheimer's disease 'by boosting circulation to the brain’

Common blood pressure medication nilvadipine could slow down Alzheimer’s disease by boosting circulation to the brain’s memory and learning center by 20 percent. The study by Radboud University Medical Centre in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, involved 44 participants, half of which were given nilvadipine with half given a placebo for six months. In the end, nilvadipine had increased blood flow to the hippocampus, the area of the brain which controls learning and memory, by 20 percent compared to the placebo.

Results - published in the journal Hypertension - further revealed other areas of the participants’ brains were unaffected by their new drug regimen.   

It works by widening the arteries and stopping calcium from getting in - without affecting other parts of the brain. Although in its early stages the research, published in the American Heart Association’s journal Hypertension, suggests that nilvadipine could reverse the signs of Alzheimer’s in some regions.

In the US, 5.8 million people are living with Alzheimer’s, which is set to rise to nearly 14 million by 2050, Alzheimer’s Association statistics show. High blood pressure is increasingly being blamed for skyrocketing rates of dementia. Prolonged hypertension can cause blood vessels in the brain to become damaged and narrow, which raises the risk of them being blocked or bursting. If blood cannot then carry oxygen to parts of the brain, some of its cells may die.

Reproduction freedom is economic freedom…and well….just basic freedom…Everything people with uteruses do is tied to whether or not we have kids. I couldnt be doing what I want in life if I was constantly knocked up. I couldnt have my job, the ability to travel and see new things, to partake in the economy, to even just sleep in or enjoy my hobbies. All these things I mentioned are my choice, and I have every right to them. Every human has the right to choose their own path in life. Birth control, and easy affordable access to it, is basic freedom. Keep this in mind if u ever think its not a big deal. This is my life. Its not a fucking game. This is basic human rights.
