Dandelion Relief Balm

Tattoo Health and You: A Workshop

You asked for it and it's coming atcha! Patch of Sky Farm and Inkdog are creating a Tattoo Health workshop to help answer all your tattoo care questions!  During the class we will touch on skin health before, during, and after your tattoo, how to eat for skin health to ensue a great recovery, how to communicate with tattoo shop owners and artists to ensure you get what you want, and what health and safety features to look for when you walk into your tattoo studio....and what to run away from.  We'll also make skincare, temporary tattoos, and snack on some delicious skin healing treats. We hope you can join us for an educational afternoon!

(Minors wishing to get tattoo work done are encouraged to attend with their parents or guardians)

This beautiful property we live on never ceases to amaze me. Today's surprise: #milkthistle, in full bloom. Chock full of Vitamin E and fantastic for detoxifying your liver, this versatile "weed"'s (yeah, right!) seeds can be used on the skin while the root, flowers, and leaves are edible. Crazy!! I had such a great time experimenting with my new #milkpaint today. It was my first time working with it and I was thoroughly impressed with the versatility, hue, ease of mixing, and the short dry time. Did you know: tomatoes are an excellent source Vitamin C and Vitamin K. They are also a very good source of copper, potassium, dietary fiber, Vitamin A (in the form of beta-carotene), Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin E, and Phosphorus. What does this mean exactly? It means that tomatoes are good for eyes, skin, teeth, and hair and a good source of ruffage to aid in digestion.
