May Meditation: I have a few decks of Angel cards that help me along with my daily meditation practice. So many options to pick from, find one or two decks that resonate with you to get started. Each day I pick a number - the day of the month, week, my favorite number, birthdays, etc. or just ask a question and pull a card randomly. Today I picked the 10th card for todays date and this beauty appeared. Not too complicated.... heading out to run some errands later so maybe a quick break on a bench to collect my thoughts and clear my mind of the current stress in my life. 🌞🌸. Take a moment for yourself today and get outside for 5 minutes to relax, refocus and regroup. Can not get outside???? No problem, sit and visualize yourself at the beach, taking a walk, floating in a pool, or laying on the grass. Day 28 - Sound: I am so grateful for the beautiful sound of crystal bowls. Five years ago I stumbled upon a crystal bowl sound healing event at a local yoga center. I am always open to trying new things so I gave it a try and I was HOOKED! Day 25 - Childhood Memory: After my Grandfather passed away suddenly when I was 4 years old, my Grandmother came to live with us for a few years. She worked in Manhattan so she would have to take a train home and then walk the rest of the way.. Each week, Monday - Friday, for the years she lived with us, my Mom would say "Grandma should be home soon" and off to the corner I would run to wait for her. Slowly I would see her image appear and as she got closer, my heart would race, my smile would get bigger and there she was with her arms open wide as I ran to her. A few years later she moved out on her own and then retired to Florida until she passed away at 97 years old I would not trade anything in the world for those years in Bayside, NY and the memories we shared.
