I wanna throw my 2 cents in about the Shen Jiu argument:

I'm not in the scum villain fandom, but a few mutuals of mine are. And even I saw how Shen Jiu fans often get attacked and singled out by other fans in the fandom for no reason other than making content for their blorbo. So I can understand them getting defensive eventually

SJ fans are being told that our experiences are exaggerated and it’s only a small handful of this fandom that go out of their way to bully/censor us.

Yet, as if to prove my point themselves, almost each and every time I’ve made a comment about our experiences being real even if people don’t see it (cause why would you care if it’s not your fave being put on blast constantly), I’ve had my replies removed, blocked, etc.

I bring up the actual events (one just recently like yesterday) where the SJ fans have been removed and quarantined off so the general population of the SVSSS fandom get to enjoy their favs all they please while shitting on SJ and SJ fans without a worry. Yet I’m being told, basically, that we’re imagining it.

So much for a majority of this fandom being healthy 🤣👌 Whatever. But I got receipts for what’s happened to me with this blog in particular over the last day or so. Hell, was saying something to call this out and didn’t get enough time to screenshot it with how quick the mod censored me.

I’m very much a confrontational person, which you’re likely not used to dealing with. I will not allow myself to be treated any kind of way and just let you get away with it.

Have you thought of going back and writing crossover fics with kagome again? I never got to read that Itachi/Kagome one before it was deleted 😢 and I'd love to know what it was about or what you had planned. Maybe spitball some ideas? i haven’t tbh. my main kagome ships now are kagome/kouga and kagome/kikyo so i’m trying to focus on writing fics for those two pairings :’)

who’s behind you now? was basically going to be your slow burn, every clichéin the book starting with the Iconic childhood friends trope, pining to the point of it being Annoying high school fic. it started with kagome transferring to itachi’s class following the death of her father and the few chapters i had were basically her warming up to him + some other shenanigans (which included little kouga lmao)! there were going to be time skips ft. their preteen years and then of course the “big” confession was supposed to happen towards the end. there were going to be a lot of Uchiha and Higurashi family interactions bc i’m big on including family in my fics and everyone knowing that the two were totally More than Friends but unwilling to change the flow of things.

it was totally slice of life inspired bc i was gonna write about them during their summer breaks, and another thing i’m really big on is including kagome’s modern day friends in my fics so they were going to be catalysts for a number of things akdmffk i’m reading these old ass notes i still have that were supposed to serve as some sort of guideline and i guess kikyou was going to be the older cousin who has no experience with relationships but offers solid advice and she becomes some sort of expert that people come visit with kagome being her #1 customer omg. and apparently hojo was supposed to be kagome’s main suitor and that’s how itachi comes to realize his feelings GOD. so yeah, basically every trope we love to cry about was basically what wbyn was going to be TuT
