> thus, the original post gets spread around these already-isolated circles at a rapid pace, because 1. the op is a popular blogger and 2. these people isolated are already all associated with each other or all flocking together in the moment
> every single word and action of op is scrutinized on op's post or new posts based around what they disagree on, dont like the phrasing of, or are misinterpreting. things treated as "common knowledge" - because it seems as such due to the insular nature of the group- are assumed to be known by others outside of the group
> these people, having already rapidly discussed and validated their own readings of op's post amongst each other, flock to op with varying degrees of assumptions and hostility, implying or accusing of bigotry, malicious intent, being ignorant or lacking experience, spreading "toxic positivity," being a "pickme," just being insulting of op and/or her stance, etc, rather than anyone asking for clarifications or trying to discuss things/hear op out- because the groups isolation is fueled by and validated by their oppression/trauma and thus are already on edge against others outside of or disagreeing with their group
> the op- who is a trans woman like most of them!!!- ends up having to take a break from the site due to the huge and constant influx of hostility towards her
after this shit, the constant rise and defense of radical feminist ideals as long as its affirming of trans women, the continuous villanizing of transmascs (because of gender essentiallism from the radfem ideals), the huge spike in harassing transmascs after their darling Other Large Trans Woman Blogger But Agrees With Them (isuggestforcefem) had her blog temporarily nuked and these people for some reason blamed transmascs as a whole and caused another blogger to have to temporarily private his blog from the harassment, can more people properly start realizing how fucked up all of this shit is? ALL group/ideology isolation is harmful for everyone IN AND OUT of those groups. and anyone who tries to say such about these groups -even when theyre trying to inspire hope and show compassion!!!- and gets the groups attention gets SWATHS of people harassing them, even if they are of the same god damn identity as most of them. its terrible what so many of yall have to go through, but no ones trauma excuses their treatment of others, and you are no exception to this. allowing that mentality without criticism is literally aiding in tearing apart the queer community from within.
