In all heckin honesty, I was really hoping I would be able to look back on all the suffering that Lotor went through, all the bullshit he was forced to endure since birth, and say ‘at least he has Allura now, at least he gets the person who he had fallen so deeply in love with’ but lmao, nah. He doesn’t even get that.

It’s Lance who gets Allura, when it did nothing for his character or her’s to have him. Lotor deserved her and even after it all, he still never got her because poor Lance, right? I’m mcfriggin salty, my dudes, like what the hell.

This is the only season 8 post I’m going to make because it needs to be said.Nothing fucks me up more than knowing that Lotor (a Canon abuse victim) died a slow,lonely and painful death with the last words he ever heard was being told he was just like the one who abused him by the only person whom he truly loved and trusted. He died weeping for her,the last thing he saw was her face twisted in anger, and was left wondering what he could have done.

I hate that they took someone who wasn’t even inherently evil, demonized his actions when the path he took was better than doing nothing at all in a world without Voltron, made him suffer the most gruesome death we’ve seen depicted in the show, then left him to drift in the quintessence field for all of eternity.

Lotor deserved better.
