🌿 I always saw Pamela as one of those, incredibly unsafe botanists (inspired by Uma Thurman in the 90's Batman movie), so she def experiments with toxic and radioactive materials, to make her plants as hardy and unkillable as possible. It means her skin takes some of that damage, chemical burns and poison and some insects take to living under her skin, but she doesn't mind: so long as she can keep her plants alive, she'll take any damage she has to for them. update to ms Ivy from 2018
