alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative
18-29, AI is a net positive
18-29, AI is a net negative
30-45, AI is a net positive
30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
18-29, less inclined
30-45, more inclined
30-45, less inclined
46-60, more inclined
46-60, less inclined
over 60, more inclined
over 60, less inclined
Thank you for helping with this data collection. Please rb for as big a sample as possible!

Determined Father Turns Entire Stronghold of Lycan into Mincemeat on a Quest to Save His Daughter
āThey were in my way,ā said Ethan Winters when questioned. āIt wasnāt that hard. Any other parent would have done the same for their kid.ā
Make that make sense. People have to quit blaming the poor for being poor.
itās literally sooo much more expensive to incarcerate people than it is to house and feed them. In my state it costs $90,000 to incarcerate a single person for one year. $90,000. Other states are even more expensive. for comparison, my rent is $1,050 a month. The annual cost of my housing is $12,600.
A word of advice for people advocating for criminal Justice reform to republicans and people who literally do not care about human rights: use these numbers. Republicans and conservatives and even moderate Dems donāt actually care about moral appeals of why itās wrong to criminalize homelessness. They do however care about how much tax money this would cost to enforce. It makes financial sense to NOT incarcerate people. (Obviously it makes moral sense too, but most people donāt actually care about that)
It's so much more expensive to put people in jail. If they are in the custody of the state (jail or prison), they have to be given food, clothes, heating, and healthcare. Most of the people who are homeless have health problems--either problems that caused them to lose their homes, trauma from being on the street, substance abuse disorder, anything. The average person experiencing homelessness is much sicker than the average American.
At this point, the largest healthcare provider in the U.S. is the Department of Justice. And legally speaking, they have to provide care. (Granted, a lot of places will avoid that as much as possible, but ideally, they get what treatment they need.) There is a giant prison in Rochester, MN, because it's next to the Mayo Clinic. It's where people with rare and serious illnesses go. My old psych prof worked there part time, providing counseling. He saw people who committed horrendous crimes getting surgeries and chemo. To be clear, prisoners should be getting surgeries and chemo. They deserve healthcare. But it's jarring to hear that a murderer got a tumor taken off his lung while his victims' families have to pay out of pocket for therapy.
I also need to point out that if you're giving people housing, you're just giving them housing. Maybe you include heating, water, and electricity. You aren't giving them clothes (uniforms). You aren't paying guards. You aren't installing metal detectors and cameras. You are just giving them a place to live. That's obviously much, much cheaper than prison.
I am horrified that I have to resort to spelling this out, but yes, this is the only argument Republicans will listen to. Give them the cost-benefit analysis
Itās because while slavery is illegal, using prisoners as forced labor is not. There is a long term goal behind these policies.
You are unfortunately not wrong
But I like to believe that most people not directly benefitting from the prison industrial complex actually WOULD care about the "it's cheaper to house than to jail and those are YOUR TAX DOLLARS" argument, even if they care 0% about ethics or morality

I was wondering how RE8 would handle letting you have a third person play mode when youāre not ever supposed to see Ethanās face in game. The answer? They programmed him to be camera shy. Any time you swing the camera around Ethan does this adorable little shuffle so that you never see more than is profile.
I donāt know why making Ethan doing his little camera shy shuffle dance amuses me so much, but it does. š

Castiel only went back to the car for a few minutes. He left Dean observing the vampire nest from a distance, gaining intel on how many were inside, but now he's nowhere to be seen.
Cursing in frustration is one of the human habits that he's picked up over the years - and Castiel certainly does it now.
By the time he's made it to the front door he can hear chaotic yelling and snarling from inside, and the unmistakable whistle of a machete slicing through the air, followed by the thud of a head hitting the floor.
But it's not enough - Castiel can see how outnumbered Dean is as he rushes into the living room - and he barely has time to warn Dean to cover his eyes before he's letting loose a blast of Grace.
When the blinding light finally fades away Castiel let's out a long shaky breath, trying to hide how even just using that much power has made his hands tremble.
Dean opens his eyes again and looks around at the smoking bodies of the dead vampires with an impressed whistle. He opens his mouth to say something - no doubt some kind of witty anecdote - when his eyes widen at something behind Castiel.
There's a vampire there, holding his ribs, with one half of his face burned away, and he's got a gun held up. Pointed at Dean.
Castiel is too far away to push him, too weak to move quick enough to block the shot with his body, so on instinct he does the first thing he can think of - he flares out his wings wide.
Gunshots blast out into the room five times in quick succession, but instead of hitting their intended target they seem to hit an invisible wall. Castiel blames using too much Grace on the blast for how the bullets don't bounce off his heavenly limbs like they should, and have instead buried themselves into something that isn't even on this plane of existence. It should be impossible, but the bullets appear to be suspended in midair - caught in his invisible wings.
Pain unlike anything Castiel has ever felt blazes from the damaged wing, and a fast flowing stream of shining blue liquid pours out of the impossible wounds, pooling onto the floor. He grunts and falls to his knees, vaguely aware of Dean dispatching the vampire and gripping onto his shoulders tightly. At least Dean is okay. No bullets got through to him. Castiel thinks he can hear Dean saying his name, but his vision is swimming and everything is going dark. He can't pull the wing back in, he can't... Castiel glances across to the damaged wing and is shocked to see black feathers there instead of nothing. He hasn't ever seen his wings materialized onto the earthly plane before.
It's a silly thought to have while he's bleeding out Grace, but he wonders if Dean will like them. Black is a very unusual feather colour for an Angel.
But before he can ask, darkness finally pulls him under.
