Rice planting. Nepal
Vibe checking. Nepal
I was curious about a source on this because OP has it tagged as “india,” while the two comments above affirm it as Nepal.
Interestingly, reverse image search brought up this photo, which appears to be a capture of the exact same moment, just from a different angle:
Nepalese farmers throw mud at each other in a paddy field in Tau-Daha village on the outskirts of Kathmandu on June 29, 2010. The farmers are celebrating National Paddy Day on ‘Asar 15’ of the Nepali calendar as the annual rice planting season begins. AFP PHOTO/Prakash MATHEMA
Two more photos of continued vibe checking, also from Prakash Mathema [1] [2]
And a personal favourite from 2018 (in Lele village):
[ Begin ID: Five photos of Nepali women in rice paddy fields, laughing, smiling, and running around as they throw mud at each other. The women are all mostly wearing red cholo and skirts with red patterned sari. / End ID ]
This may be the best Pride merch I've seen from a major corporation.
Levi's said yes, actually. Assless chaps and a biker vest. Happy Pride.
And the assless chaps sold out on June 1.
They also specifically contacted members of the leather community, used them as models iirc, and donated $100k to Outright International. They talked the talk and walked the walk and put their money on it too. I don't really care that I can't afford and don't want this merch, I love to see my community getting the respect it deserves. Levi's said, "We make jeans which gays wear lots of jeans? Oh leather daddies? Let's call them."
I think Levi's donates to Outreach International every year too, as well as sponsoring pride events and other community support. They were offering Same Sex domestic partner benefits to employees in the 90s, and have been very public about their support for pro-lgbt legislation all through the 2000s.
So, you know, a giant corporation that walks the walk pretty consistently.
You ever think about many peices of media have zero women and thats just perfectly normal but if a peice of media has an all female cast people get... like that? Women should be allowed to kill over this btw
same but it's black people
That's right
sorry to post facebook videos on main but the sound of jello going through an industrial shredder is both mesmerizing and horrible
pourquoi du pain est masculin mais la baguette est féminine....... la baguette est transgenre ?
je vais laisser la communauté parler:
la baguette, icône trans?
oui
non
eh bah

I need to remember that 90% of the people discussing politics on here are basically operating at this level of historical literacy.
i love this reply in particular
Happy pride to those 5 seconds where Charlie Swan thought Jacob was coming out to him in the most insane way possible

Was driving with my grandmother and in broken English she says “no eyes… no nose… no face. Don’t trust.” To which I looked around wildly in search of this omen of ill portend.
Cybertruck. It was a cybertruck.
