~ JC-Negative Fic Rec List ~
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ One-shots ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Since there aren't many MDZS fic rec lists that cater exclusively to those of us who dislike Jiang Cheng, I decided to make my own. This is the first of three lists on this theme - which will all be linked to a master-post - for one-shots, complete multi-chapter fics, and ongoing WIPs.
These are all the fics I've found to date which portray Jiang Cheng in a negative context. Not fics which don't mention him at all; but fics which actually portray him as his canonical self, and/or engage in JC-bashing. Not all of them bash him; but none of them engage in JC-whitewashing.
Each rec is listed with the story title/link, author, rating, chapter total/completion status, official summary, warnings, my personal summary/notes, comments on how JC appears in any additional MDZS fics by that author (if I had time or it was applicable), story setting, and word count. All fics feature a WangXian pairing unless otherwise stated.
If anyone knows of any other JC-Critical MDZS fics which are not included on this list, I'd be thrilled to hear about them. I will continue to update this list as I find good additions to it.

Blood On The Ground by Mondengel (Rated T)
Author's Summary: Lan Wangji is fresh from his sickbed and in no mood to be polite.
My Summary: LXC very foolishly leads the visiting Sect Leaders JC, NMJ, & sworn brother JGY on a walk past a fresh-from-seclusion LWJ. LWJ burns JC & roasts JGY.
(Written by an excellent author; who sadly does not typically write non-JC positive fics, so this was a rare treat.)
Set Mid-Canon (during the 13 years post-seige); 1255 words
of past and present by Here_For_This (This_Rocks_My_Socks) (Rated T)
Author's Summary: Jin Ling and Wei Wuxian talk.
Warnings: Discussions entailing the deaths of both JZX and JYL, implied/referenced child abuse, implied sibling abuse, torture both physical and psychological, murder, blatantly calling out of JC for only SOME of what he does, blatant self indulgence, and a tinge of salt.
My Summary: This is literally the only post-canon MDZS fic I have ever read (at the time I bookmarked it) that not only properly characterises JC's relationship with WWX, but calls it and him for what they are - a toxic relationship between an abuser and his victim. Being abused yourself is no excuse for perpetuating that behaviour against others; especially as a grown up adult who has no excuse for not even trying to control himself.
WWX talking about how you shouldn't have to put up with abuse, even from someone you love; even if they love you... was just phenomenal. As a survivor of abuse, this fic is everything I ever needed and wanted from a post-canon fic that mentions JC in this fandom.
Set Post-Canon/Canon Compliant; 6641 words
keeping score by hauntedotamatone (Rated T)
Author's Summary: “You look like him, you know.”
“Forgive me, this disciple doesn’t understand your meaning.” Sizhui only knows that it is not a compliment. Sect Leader Jiang, as far as he knows, does not give compliments, not even to Jin Ling.
“Ghost General,” he practically spits. “I should have seen it sooner.”
A confrontation at Koi Tower, followed by a confrontation at Koi Tower.
My Summary: WWX may not have fully grasped how horrible a person JC is before now, or how little he ever deserved JC's treatment himself; but nobody targets his son. No one.
Set Post-Canon/Canon Compliant; 6700 words.
Remember, Remember by Izzyaro (Isilarma) (Rated T)
Author's Summary: Lan Sizhui has always been wary of Sect Leader Jiang, but could never quite explain why.
My Summary: An amazing and realistic exploration of Post-Canon LSZ's thoughts, opinions, and attitudes of and towards JC.
Set Post-Canon/Canon Compliant; 1724 words.
on the importance of restraint (or lack thereof) by nixtothou (Rated T)
Author's Summary: Lan Sizhui does not usually find himself in the company of Sect Leader Jiang.
Suffice to say, Lan Sizhui's feelings toward him are conflicted.
My Summary: As the author says in the tags - LSZ deserves to snap.
Set Post-Canon/Canon Compliant; 3723 words.
Bloom and Wilt by simply_mad (Rated G)
Author's Summary: Counting the seasons was easier than counting the years that had passed. That didn't mean it was easier to wait.
My Summary: This is a sweet little WangXian ficlet from LWJ's POV. It doesn't really bash JC; he just shows up for a couple of sentences as his canonical self and then becomes completely irrelevent.
Canon Compliant, set during the 13 years of WWX's death; 2070 words.
If They Began Dating At 15 (Translation)by Rurella (Rated T)
Author's Summary: What if Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji got together when they were 15?
My Summary: This is an english translation of short little chinese fanfic from fairly early on in the fandom. It's cute and lighthearted, and actually pretty funny.
The author doesn't bash JC; just writes him with his canon teenage characterization and makes him suffer. (Which amuses me.) He doesn't seem particularly homophobic in this - his attitude comes across as being more due to a combination of objecting to WWX's love life in particular; rather than gay relationships in general, as well as getting upset over the fact that he keeps walking in on WangXian and it's driving him crazy.
It's sort of hilarious b/c WangXian are just doing their thing; meanwhile everywhere JC goes he just keeps accidentally walking in on them, and everything he tries to take revenge on or discourage them backfires on him. Sometimes it's just fun to read about a JC who is NOT at his post-canon level of assholeness; just the teenage one, who's constantly being made miserable in a humorous way without anyone else noticing or caring.
Canon Divergence, set during and after the Cloud Recesses Study Arc; 5207 words.
Quiet by waterrain (Rated M)
Author's Summary: Jiang Cheng acts on an impulse and Wei WuXian is deeply hurt by it.
Warnings: Forced kiss, sexual harrassment/assault, victim blaming, implications of sexual assault/rape (rape DOES NOT ACTUALLY HAPPEN; it's a misunderstanding)
My Summary: JC attacks WWX; pinning him to his bed and kissing him against his will. Then victim-blames him for it, saying that it's WWX's own fault for never shutting up. Afterwards WWX understandably reacts to him like a victim of assault; but because he's trying to keep JC from getting into trouble he doesn't explain anything to anyone, and everyone ends up assuming JC raped him.
The story itself isn't funny at all; but I find the concept behind it hilarious - that WWX's attempt to protect JC from the consequences of mistreating him backfired so badly; that it resulted in everyone hating JC and thinking he did something even worse than the original very shitty thing he did do. I now really want to read a humorous fic based on that premise.
Author does not actually engage in very much intentional or actual JC bashing other than this fic; they've actually written several ChengXian fics (as well as some WN/WWX and LXC/WWX).
Their WangXian fics are generally good for some simple, uncomplicated WangXian smut and/or fluff; but if JC is tagged, expect there to be some mention of him one-sidedly pining after WWX, or otherwise suffering b/c of WWX in some way without WWX (or anyone else) noticing.
Canon-Divergence, Post-Cloud Recesses Study Arc; 536 words.
I am sorry, he looked trustworthy by Xiao_Hua (Rated M)
Author's Summary: Wei WuXian is a hero, Lan WangJi is his arch nemesis.
So what happens when in the middle of a battle Wei WuXian forgets this and out of everyone judges Lan WangJi the most innocent looking, deciding to trust only him?
My Summary: Very interesting take on things; I'm honestly impressed.
It's canon divergent; either after WWX's death - in that his revival in MXY's body never happened; or in being based on CQL or some other MDZS AU where WangXian never got together, and in which WWX was murdered at some point after Guanyin temple. Regardless, the past is not completely discussed, and WWX never regains his memories of his original life.
Not much actual JC bashing; he rarely shows up and is not discussed in detail. But he is an asshole, and a couple of references indicate that WWX's life growing up with him and YZY was as miserable as it was in the canon timeline. He also doesn't hesitate to turn on WWX. He's not actually as bad as in canon; he's not a serial killer with a torture hobby, at least. But that's about the most complimentary thing the fic does for him.
Xiao_Hua is an excellent author. My only complaint is that they generally portray WWX as being oblivious (not really in this fic, but in others); however they're a talented enough author that I don't mind too much. They don't outright bash JC; they just generally minimize his presence, and when he's there they depict him as his canonical self. It's honestly delightful.
(So far I've only really found one exception to this among their fics; Mine was a bit more JC-positive than I prefer - he's still an asshole in it; but he's an asshole with good intentions - but overall I loved that fic too much for the slightly generous interpretation of his character in it to bother me.)
Something else to take note of is that their M rated fics are probably a bit more suited to an E rating; in case that bothers you. I would also recommend not reading too many of their M or E fics too close together; as their smut tends to follow the exact same formula each time, and is very close to their novel-canon first time. It's not bad smut; but it means that binge-reading their fics makes the smut a bit boring after a while.
There'll be a few more fics from them on this list, so have fun!
Modern AU, Heroes/Villians AU, Reincarnation/Immortality Fic, Canon Divergent; 16,267 words.
Mark me with your devotion by Xiao_Hua (Rated M)
Author's Summary: People attain marks of colour on their skin from those who love them.
Wei WuXian has no discolouration on his body at all.
My Summary: This is an excellent fic, although it is also very angsty. Unlike the other fics I've seen in this trope, WWX's lack of marks is not due to any kind of curse or condition. He just genuinely has not been loved at all by a single person since he was six(the age at which people become able to give and receive marks) - including the entire Jiang family.
It is either a No-Sunshot Campaign AU, or the war happens later, after the fic is over. Regardless, timelines and ages are changed up in this - WWX is twenty when they go to Gusu for the lectures; A-Yuan is six when WWX is twenty-one. A-Yuan is also not a Wen; at least, he has no living family.
JC is his -ahem!- delightful, canonical self in this. I can absolutely see him doing these things to WWX if canon had soulmarks. My favourite part related to him involved WWX's reaction. (Do I love seeing JC get smacked in the face with *consequences*? Absolutely yes.)
Soulmark AU, Canon Divergent; 18,015 words.
Switched by Xiao_Hua (Rated M)
Author's Summary: “Gege we’re in a different world, definitely mortal realm. These are nothing but meek humans, some with low amounts of dwindling spiritual powers. I may kill them all if Gege pleases.”
“Oh no San Lang, of course not,” Xie Lian turned towards the eldest man in the room bowing deeply to show respect. “dear friend, we apologise for the rudeness it is quite obvious that we are within bodies that you are familiar with but we are indeed not who you think.”
Or the one where Wei WuXian and Lan WangJi swap bodies with Xie Lian and Hua Cheng. Jiang Cheng is annoyed, Lan XiChen becomes worried, Nie HuaiSang remains greatly amused whilst Hua Cheng ships it.
My Summary: This AU is just so much fun, honestly. Very fluffy with little to no angst.
Initially, WangXian meeting, spending time with, and getting to know HuaLian doesn't change much; but it creates small ripples that ultimately lead to major canon divergences. Everything is beautiful and nothing hurts.
This is mostly MDZS-focused; but with a couple of appearances by HuaLian and some minor references to TGCF world-building. The only divergences for TGCF are that HuaLian disappear from the TGCF universe for a bit at a couple of points in canon; first because of the bodyswap, then to go answer a prayer from WangXian. There are a couple of brief cameos by other gods as well.
TGCF/MDZS Crossover, TGCF Canon Compliant with two minor differences; MDZS Canon Divergent starting during the Cloud Recesses Study Arc; 16,138 words.
Don't worry, we'll fix this by Xiao_Hua (Rated T)
Author's Summary: 'I digress, now that you are inevitably convinced and have grown comfortable with the idea that you are me let us get into business. A’Yuan will hand you a notebook MY BOY DO NOT LET ANYONE TOUCH THAT THING where I have summed up the future and left a list of the things that you are required to fix.'
Or one where baby A-Yuan is sent back by Wei WuXian to fix things up with nothing but a manuscript artfully constructed by the YiLing Laozu.
My Summary: This is a pretty cute fic; though it has some CQL elements in it, it's still more MDZS verse than CQL. (No Yin Iron, thank heaven!) As for what makes this fic awesome? I have two things to say.
I know it seems like I'm posting everything by Xiao_Hua on this list; but I'm not, actually. I love basically all of their fics, but the ones on this list are the ones that I feel qualify as JC-critical. For the most part, the others don't have JC in them at all.
Time Travel AU, Canon Divergent from the Cloud Recesses Study Arc; 19,992 words.
If we could go back by Xiao_Hua (Rated T)
Author's Summary: Wei WuXian is in shambles, there is an army of rabbits whilst Lan WangJi may or may not punch someone for insulting his husband.
Or one where both Lan WangJi and Wei WuXian travel back in time and are forced to face the mess that has been their lives.
My Summary: This sounds a lot like the one above, and it DOES share several elements (Time Travel, A-Yuan, Dragons); but in this one Post-Canon WangXian are the ones to go back. They try to pretend to be their past selves but it goes sideways really quickly; especially because JC is being his canonical self and Post-canon WWX is just done.
It contains enough CQL elements to irritate me (though still no Yin Iron); but the JC bashing in the earlier parts of the fic makes up for it. Granted, the author included a little too much JC-Neutral content at the end for my taste (this is a direct quote: "...and Jiang Cheng was as nice to them as he was capable of being..."), but it makes sense that WWX wouldn't want to completely cut ties with a JC he was still on somewhat civil terms with, since he was still close to JYL.
This isn't their best work, but it's still enjoyable. Mostly, I'm just fond of it because this is the fic where someone actually punches JC right in the face; sending him flying and laying him out flat on his back. The fact that that person is LWJ just makes it that much better.
Accidental Time Travel AU, Post-Canon, Canon Compliant, Time Travel Divergence from the Cloud Recesses Study Arc; 12,505 words.
For the Greater Good by Xiao_Hua (rated M)
Author's Summary: He counted on having a hard time with finding anyone willing to aid his case, it’s not like people did not have very strong opinions on what behaviours were proper for a young gentleman. Deciding to change his tactics, he needed to look for quality instead of quantity.
Originally he planned that their strength might be in their number, shocking the old goat out of his boots but if he manages to induce the right person, the director will have no other option but to bow in front of his brilliance.
Or one where Wei Ying decides to wear the female students' uniform for the greater good and Lan Zhan has a hard time dealing with the feelings such action brings along.
Warnings: Homophobia, Transphobia (maybe?), prejudice against crossdressing and/or other forms of gender non-conformity, etc. Severe Depression.
My Summary: Excellent fic where WWX cross-dresses for social justice. I love how he has absolutely no hesitation in supporting his friend; no matter what social or academic consequences he faces for his actions, and the way he refuses to bow down in the face of bigotry and gross abuse of power.
JC is very homophobic and bigoted in this, and WWX does not put up with his attitude.
Howling For You by ariwrites (Rated E)
Author Summary: So, for a hundred years there was peace.
In the 101th year, there was Wei Wuxian.
The foxxian/dragonji AU where Lan Wangji takes(kinda kidnaps) a trespassing foxxian home and makes him stay.
My twitter threadfic cleaned up for ao3.
My Summary: This is just a really cute mates!fic. It doesn't exactly bash JC; because while he's an asshole and WWX seems to have an antoganistic relationship with him, he does try to rescue WWX (and offer an awkward mumble about healers) when JC thinks he's been kidnapped and raped.
(Granted, his uncharacteristic consideration is offset by his refusal to let WWX explain that, "No, this was consensual; I'm not here against my will so please stop dragging me away!")
Hybrid/Shifter AU; 8567 words.
the stone-filled sea by rukla (Rated T)
Author's Summary: He forgets how quickly Wei-qianbei changes faces, sometimes. Like pulling a theater mask over a bruise—color over color, a diversion with the swipe of his hand.
Lan Sizhui navigates a world that hates his father, one endless wave at a time.
My Summary: This is very, very sad. But also very beautiful, and containing several satisfying moments following each of the sad parts. It's very poetic, and it hurts; but not in an entirely bad way. It just feels very bittersweet.
JC doesn't show up, and he's never mentioned specifically; but LSZ recalls things his father told him about how WWX's life with the Jiangs affected him that very much do include JC.
Baby Of Mine by pupeez4eva (Rated T)
Author's Summary: Little A-Yuan makes an impromptu trip to the past, and all he wants to do is spend some quality time with his parents.
A teenage Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are not equipped to deal with this.
My Summary: This is just a cute, ridiculous piece of fluff. It's a great little feel-good piece.
This is basically Canon Divergent on two separate counts. First - the future A-Yuan comes from diverges at some point prior to JL's one month celebration; where WangXian get together and WWX and the Wen Remnants all move to the Cloud Recesses. Second - little A-Yuan time travels into the middle of LQR's classroom during a lecture.
Canon Divergent Time Travel AU; Set in the Cloud Recesses Study Arc; 3341 words.
A Good Sword by Haoppopotamus (Rated G)
Author's Summary: Wei Wuxian is forming a golden core in Mo Xuanyu's body. He realizes this means he can wield Suibian again but Lan Wangji reminds him it's with Jiang Cheng in Yunmeng. Their help is requested to subdue supernatural disturbances on Mushan Island so Wangxian head there with some juniors. During the night hunt, they run into Jiang Cheng who happens to have Suibian with him. How will Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian resolve who gets to keep the sword?
My Summary: It's basically what it says on the tin. JC is his usual shitty self; though when he gives in at the end WWX thanks him - even though I got the impression JC only did it to try to save face.
Post-Canon, Canon Compliant; 4392 words.
Musings On The Golden Core by Vrishchika
This series contains three (amazing) unrelated works so far (as of 07/02/21):
Intervention of Spirits by Vrishchika (One-Shot, Complete; Rated T)
Author's Summary: Suibian intervenes and everything is golden.
My Summary: A cute little Golden Core Reveal fic. It's more JC-Critical than JC-Bashing; he's just at a canon-typical level of shittiness for right after the Sunshot Campaign.
Canon Divergence Post-Sunshot Campaign; 4338 words.
Resiliance by Vrishchika (One-Shot, Complete; Rated T)
Author's Summary: Five times things get out of Jiang Wanyin's control and the one timeline where everything goes right for Lan Wangji.
My Summary: One of my absolute favourite Time Travel Fix-It AUs ever. I've read it through four times already, and it was only posted on June 7th. (25 days ago as of this update.)
Basically, 4 years after WWX's death, JC decides to use one of his untested inventions - a Time Travel array - to go back and change the past. Unbeknownst to him, LWJ hitches a ride.
Time Travel Fix-It, starts 4 years after WWX's death, goes to right after the massacre of Lotus Pier where it goes AU; 7744 words.
Trapped and Patient by Vrishchika (4-Shot WIP, One Chapter Posted as of 07/02/21; Rated E)
Author's Summary: "Wen Qing-"
"Listen to me," Wen Qing interrupts him, "It is impossible."
My Summary: Wen Qing tells WWX that a Golden Core Transfer isn't an untested theory; it's disproven - and explains why it's literally impossible.
Major Jiang/Yu hate here. Not really expressed in the text yet so much as they fill you with homicidal rage for the way they treat WWX; though I'm honestly quite hopeful that he breaks free long before they plan to release him.
This isn't a One-Shot so it technically doesn't belong on this list; but since I'm reccing the full series here I included it too.
I absolutely reccomend anything by Vrishchika; they're very much not JC positive at all.
Canon Divergent from before the Golden Core Transfer, No Golden Core Transfer AU; 8666 words.
Worth of a Good Man by Vrishchika (Rated T)
Author's Summary: When you shine as brightly as a star, people notice. Everyone wants a worthy, loyal, and strong person by their side.
My Summary: Everyone notices how skilled and powerful WWX is. They also notice how poorly the Jiang Sect treats him.
Surely he'd appreciate being given a better offer. Surely.
Takes place in an AU where WRH is not so evil, and the Sunshot Campaign never happens.
Based on this prompt: "I have always had a problem with WWX's position and treatment in Yunmeng Jiang. His status is terribly uncertain. Is he a servant? An inner disciple? An outer disciple? Nobody knows! He has no money except what he gets in allowance from JFM, gets punished according to non-existent rules, goes from brother to pet to servant in five seconds flat... It's confusing. He's Head Disciple, a hell of a powerful one and we can be sure that he earned that title since Yu-furen would (and probably did) scream favouritism. Now, my prompt is this: What if other sects start paying attention at some point and conclude that WWX would make an excellent disciple for almost any sect? And surely, if Yunmeng Jiang doesn't treat him all that well, he must be gettable! Cue the bidding war with various sects offering WWX favourable, clear-cut contracts and/or bribes. (Marrying him in is an option as well!)"
Jin Vrs. Lan - For Wei Wuxian's Hand by Vrishchika (Rated T)
Author's Summary: Jin Zixuan and Lan Wangji fall in love with the same person.
Somehow, they still find happiness in the end.
My Summary: JZX and LWJ waging an invisible war for WWX's heart is hilarious. It's actually very sweet, with a happy ending. Pairing is WangXian (XuanLi secondary pairing); ZiXian is only one-sided.
Based off of this prompt: "What if Jin Zixuan fell in love with Wei Ying on first punch? Both him & Lan Zhan have a foot in mouth syndrome, so any courting attempt on their side is bound to be hilarious, especially if they are aware that they are competing for WWX's affection, while he remains totally oblivious."
Canon Divergence during the Cloud Recesses Study Arc, No War AU; 7560 words.
To Speak Up by Vrishchika (Rated M)
Author's Summary: To be silent is to be complicit.
Warnings: Child Abuse, Domestic Violence, Homophobia, Brainwashing.
My Summary: This is a fic about Canon Jiang Family Dynamics and Behaviour in a modern setting. It's really sad; especially since YZY never faces consequences for her actions. I mean, it ends with WWX being free; but it still broke my heart and made me furious, because WWX refused to walk away for JC and JYL's sake - and they absolutely did not deserve his loyalty. It enraged me that unlike in MDZS, WWX chooses JC over LWJ every single time, no matter what.
That said, the things WWX says about being a child who grew up in an abusive family are 100% true.
Based on this prompt: I want to see a fic where WWX's found family gets angry and just snaps at the Jiangs for their treatment of WWX bc WWX wouldn't do it for himself so they decided that they'll do it for him instead. I'm thinking of a modern AU instead and would love to see the Wen sibs and the Lans esp Lan Qiren defend WWX from YZY. Established Wangxian too, maybe just boyfriends or already married.
The Cruelty of Fate by Procrastination_Sensation (Rated T)
Author's Summary: “Wei Ying,” he manages, a breathy croak, and peers past his eyelashes to watch those grey eyes widen. They swirl with more emotions than he can name at the moment- emotions that he has not seen in those eyes for years, and his heart aches further as he watches the other swallow visibly, trembling hands reaching up to tentatively hold his own outstretched one, though they pass through each other like the other is made of mist.
“Lan Zhan,” Wei Ying breathes, and the shadows under his eyes darken as his face scrunches up, looking like he’s about to cry.
My Summary: A beautiful and painful Soulmate AU, where you only ever learn who your soulmate is because their ghost comes to haunt you after they die. It has a happy ending; but beware of all the knives beforehand.
Also LWJ verbally tears JC to shreds; though a lot of it is simply his thoughts rather than spoken aloud. (Unfortunately.) WWX is also indicated to still have rather disappointingly positive feelings towards him. (Even more unfortunately.)
From a Tumblr prompt: "The one where your soulmate's ghost haunts you when they die."
Canon-Divergence Post-First Siege of the Burial Mounds through the 13 Years of WWX's Death, Soulmate AU; 15,698 words.
These Mortal Treasures by ChilianXianzi (Rated T)
Author's Summary: "Is that something that Wei Ying would like?" Lan Wangji asks softly, carefully, "To be kept?"
There's that fleeting, lost look in Wei Ying's eyes once more, and Lan Wangji thinks it's unacceptable - That Wei Ying had not felt welcomed in his own home, so much so that he decided to wander the world away from it. So much so that he is afraid that he would be unwelcome as well elsewhere.
Lan Wangji barely stops himself from hissing, from letting the steam of his icy breath escape in the close air between them. He only vaguely remembers the Jiangs, a young Cultivation Clan barely a century old, but his disdain towards them feels ancient now in the wake of all this. How foolish of them, to simply let go of someone so bright, someone so unfailingly kind and giving.
How convenient, for Lan Wangji's own gain.
My Summary: An awesome AU based on this prompt: Dragon LWJ seeing WWX and saying Mine! with all the delightful possessive hoarding Dragon tendencies. The sacrifices Clans/villages make to appease the Dragon/gain his favor can be the things that make up his hoard.
Love to see lots of possessive, aggressively doting, giving WWX random trinkets to make his Treasure the happiest, shiniest Treasure LWJ.
WWX can be another Shifter or a sacrifice. Dealers choice! Maybe he gets the Pearl back after someone (WRH? Steals it)?
Can writer please incorporate the Dragon Pearl being an egg? They create/hatch it? If the Pearl gets stolen can there be a specific thing they have to do to turn if from Pearl to Egg. Like WWX has to swallow it, incubate it for a while then LWJ curling around it until its ready to hatch.
Contains Egg-preg of sorts.
Lans Are Dragons AU, Canon Divergent; 9379 words.
Jealousy by Marinelifeclub (Rated G)
Author's Summary: Jiang Yanli compares her life to Wei Wuxian's and feels bitterness settle in her chest.
My Summary: WWX doesn't give JC his core, and eventually Jiang Yanli becomes her mother's daughter.
Very negative towards both Jiang siblings.
Canon Divergent from before the Golden Core Transfer; 816 words.
