sometimes i feel embarrassed because i don't shave my legs and all of my friends do. i wish it didn't make me uncomfortable. i don't want to shave them and i dont need a reason or an excuse. and no one's asking for one. nobody says anything to me about it. which is why i don't get why im embarrassed. i guess i feel like they're silently judging me. i know my mom is, too. for my graduation she told me "dont you want to shave your legs? your graduation is coming up soon and you're gonna be wearing a dress" i told her that not really, and i've worn dresses plenty of times before so why does it matter now? she said "well it's a more formal event don't you want to look nice?" why is it that something that's natural on my body isn't "nice" or "formal" ?? it's literally just hair. whenever i'm at school i worry about my pants riding up a little and showing my legs. i always wear long socks just in case but still. whenever it happens i just feel weird because i see the hair and i know no one else has it. i worry they think im gross or ugly or weird. when i go to ballet class you can see it through the tights. sometimes it even pokes out a little. that doesn't happen to anyone else. idk. i feel out of place.
OMGGG i just read the entirety of post harbor in one day holy shit it was beautiful everyone should go read it like right now!!!! it started in 2020 but it was just finished last month and there's a spin off coming too. i'm glad i found it now when it was already done because it would've killed me to wait for updates haha. it's on webtoon and tapas and also it's available as a book im pretty sure
