i was just recently thinking about this. a machine is allowed to break down. more often than not, it will be repaired, because it is valuable. a machine is allowed to stop working because it broke down. a human is not. you will go to work despite illness and injury because you are not allowed to stop working because you broke. if you stop working because you broke, you will be thrown out.
