I’ve really struggled with my motivation lately but today I signed up for a 6 week challenge group at a local gym 💪🏻 …day 1 really kicked my butt, however, I feel good and am excited too keep going!
Just taking this journey one day at a time and trying to find what really works best for me.

I usually do my workouts at home but decided to venture to the gym this weekend. I won’t lie…I don’t hate it!
Some days are harder than others…. 😩
Some days you have to let your body rest. That’s me today but I can never get my rest in without this dog on my neck. 🤷🏼♀️she’s lucky I love her💕

The Lifesum app helps me stay on track by keeping my calories under control. I like that they rate my meals with happy and sad faces 😋

Just trying to remind myself that this is a process and change won’t happen over night….
Especially when Mother’s Day brunch is lit and you’re surrounded by delicious but terrible for you food. I stuck to an omelette with a side a fruit and 1 baby sugar free cupcake and a cookie dough ball cause it was a celebration obvi and temptation is real.

I use to stop at Dunkin Donuts everyday for a large Carmel swirl iced coffee with cream and sugar 😳. The calories in that one drink was probably equal to what my daily intake is now. I’m a creature of habit and I liked the routine of stopping in to get my order. Now I switched to just using a Dunkin cup but filled with a much healthier alternative.
-vanilla shakeology -chocolate silk almond milk -ice -1 banana (because I feel the need to add bananas to everything since they are so yummy 😍)
Honestly ..I could get use to this.
