H0ES DEPRESSED
I wonder how Robert Robertson III’s mother felt about him becoming mecha man so young. To watch him grow up so fast. To be an outsider in this family, where father and son are tied by destiny and responsibility, and all she can do is love them and wish for their safety. I wonder if she ever argued with her husband about the fate of their son. I wonder if she just wanted these self-annihilating men to be happy and how she felt when she realized they never would be.
I wonder if his father wanted him to become the hero, or if he fought villains with the hope that his son would live in a world where he didn’t need to be a savior. His father died in the suit, I wonder if he knew that he would, too. I want to know his reaction to his own father’s death. I wonder what drove him to become mecha man. Was it his own drive and desire to be good or did he feel obliged to fill his father’s shoes because the city needed a hero? Did he know that him taking up the mantle would inspire his son to do the same?

We'll meet each over. Again. I believe in it.
How would yall feel if I wrote Ferb x Isabella slow burn?
No, Caitlyn is not a fascist
As time passed after the ending of arcane I've come to realise that labelling Caitlyn Kiramman as a "dictator" is plain wrong and it heavily mischaracterizes her as a person who was so clearly manipulated by a woman in power.
Arcane writers have done everything they can to explain to the fandom that the gas was mostly used on chembarons and their goons. Obviously other people were caught in the crossfire and got poisoned from the gray, but this is nowhere near what the nazis were doing. And it is also NOT a valid reason to call her "KKKiramman"

Something interesting about the Cait/Vi dynamic is the fact that, when they meet, Vi is essentially just some random criminal to Cait and Cait is just another enforcer to Vi. It isn’t until they go to each other’s home turf that they realize, “Oh, this is SOMEBODY.” It’s like heirs from neighboring kingdoms meeting without realizing who the other is.
You get Caitlyn slowly realizing that the Undercity is far more interested in Vi being back than her investigation, and Vi realizing that Cait is not just any Piltie, but, in some ways, the ultimate Piltie. Like, I kind of wish they had a similar shot to VI’s awe at Cait’s ceiling with Cait looking up at the giant portrait of Vi at the Firelights’ base right after she had assumed she was the reason they had been taken.
Obviously, it helps to have them get to know each other as people first, but I wonder how it would change their relationship if they knew who each other was from the start.
Vi and Loris drunk karaoke night! Thanks to a arcanetiktok prompt
Caitlyn's life is truly insane cause girly was basically a traffic cop who accidentally found out the Sheriff (her boss!) is corrupt and working with a drug lord, then she gets blown up by said drug lord's daughter, gets fired from her traffic cop job for being nosy, then decided to do some vigilante justice by forging a government official's signature to break her future wife out of prison. She then runs around the Undercity chasing after said future wife (who might have a death wish) gets kidnapped, her boss tries to shoot her, then she gets blown up AGAIN, gets broken up with without even being together (yet), gets kidnapped AGAIN, decides not to kill her not gf/future wife's sister (who kidnapped her), then watches said sister kill her mother, then gets promoted from fired traffic cop to SWAT team, not gf becomes her actual gf, gets blown up again again, breaks up with her gf, and then gets promoted to commander of a sovereign nation by a warmongering foreign power.
Also she's 23 and this happened in like a month.
It definitely would have made one hell of an impression on Jinx, after being tortured back to life by Singed who she hallucinated as Caitlyn
to then see the real Caitlyn choke Singed out and thwart his attempt to (further) monsterfy a family member
Like that may have been the most effective thing Jinx could have seen to make her realize, on a personal level, that she was wrong about Caitlyn.

This is my fave ⬇️
I love that Jinx does actually view Caitlyn as part of the family, despite their differences and animosity.
