calling everything a woman does āfeminismā just because she chooses it, when when it has nothing to do with advancing the rights of women, is ridiculous and harms the movement as a whole.
Also, sometimes what women choose to do regresses (or tries to regress) the progress we have made in advancing the rights of women. Tradwife influencers are in fact antifeminists. Republican women, particularly those who have pursued careers in politics, are antifeminists. Anti-choice women are antifeminists. Many, if not most, if not all women deeply entrenched in patriarchal religions are antifeminists.
All women deserve equal rights, but not all women believe that, and there are many who work to have women's rights reduced or revoked altogether. We should not support these women's choices, and certainly not in the name of the movement they spit all over.
