Okay I’ve been making a chart to put Naruto characters as each of the Greek gods and I got stuck on which one Sakura would be. At first I was gonna put her a Athena but then figured Shikamaru would be better fitted for that
Why does Kiri have the Seven Swordsman and not Kumo??
It’s mentioned in Naruto that Kumogakure is known for it Kenjutsu and many sword wielders. Hell a large portions of the characters that are shown from Kumo are swordsman. So why don’t they have specialized swordsman with amazing swords never seen before? Idk I just think it would be cool to see the sword place have the seven swordsman
In the modern/our world Au for Naruto I like to think about the characters ethnicities a lot. I always thought most of the characters in Naruto were Asian, not all of them but about 2/3

TW: Missing child, grieving family (Wasn’t sure if I needed a trigger warning or not so I put one anyway, better safe than sorry am I right?)
Julieta
Julieta puts up a front that everything is fine. She smiles and assures everyone that Mirabel just needs some time and she will be back any day now. Except, it’s been three weeks now, and Julieta is more so saying it for herself than anyone else. When no one is looking she starts to break down. It usually happens in the kitchen. The place she has been the most comfortable in for almost all her entire life, is the only place she feels safe enough to show her true emotions. No one mentions the tear streaks they see as she smiles and sets down dinner plates, no one talks about how they can all hear her sobs from the kitchen, they sit in silence and eat the meal that has been given to them. Julieta is cooking and baking constantly, it’s all she does. She’s eating her food more often than before as well. Her gift is to heal people with her cooking, so why isn't it working? Deep down she knows. She knows that her gift can only heal physical wounds, not the emotional ones.
Augustin
Augustin is torn. He’s torn between yelling at his mother-in-law or comforting his wife and children. He wants to do both, but he knows it will only cause more chaos. He wanted to protect his daughter. Even at the cost of the casita he wanted to keep Mirabel safe and happy. He spends most of his time trying to help his wife. He tries to talk to Isabella and Luisa, he wants to help them as well. He just wants his daughter back.
Isabela
Isabela cries. She hugs the embroidery pillow that Mirabel made her, pretending it’s her baby sister. She traces the flower patterns and stains them with her tears. Isabella is worn out and tired. She’s filled with regret and sorrow. She wants to make thing better with her sister, she wants to embrace Mirabel and tell her how loved she is. But she can't. Isabela is so tired she stops putting up her perfect front. She makes snide remarks and rude comments to the people around her. She comes off as bitter, which she is. She covers it up though, the anguish. She replaces her sorrow with anger, anger towards Mirabel. She comes off as angry towards her baby sister, refusing to talk about Mirabel, shutting down anyone who even mentions her name around the older sister. “We don’t talk about Mirabel!” She shouts to the townsfolk, angry cacti sprouting at her feet.
Luisa
Luisa, like her mother, dives headfirst into overusing her gift. She pushes herself too far. Despite her exhaustion she keeps on pushing forward. The second week of Mirabel's disappearance she had enough. She breaks down. There are no words exchanged, she doesn’t yell at anybody, she only sits up from her seat quietly before practically sprinting out of the room and into her own. She’s become fragile. The mere mention of Mirabel’s name sends her into a spiral. She had to box up everything Mirabel had ever given to her in an extra closet located in her room. The three dresses Mirabel had handmade for her? In the closet. The rainbow lacey ribbon Mirabel gave her as a birthday gift one year? In the closet. The stitched quilt that said “World's strongest most pretty sister” on it with the S’s being backwards? In the closet. Everything is in the closet. Luisa can't bear to even think, speak, nor hear of her sister.
Pepa
Storm clouds litter the sky. Pepa grieves the disappearance of her niece. She hugs her sister, knowing exactly how much pain she would be in if one of her own were to go missing. She’s tries her hardest to comfort her children, tries to explain to them how she knows exactly what it’s like to lose someone so close. Three weeks in and all Pepa can feel is guilt. She feels guilty for having only been thinking of Bruno and how much she missed him. Pepa can’t help but think that Mirabel followed in his footsteps.
Felix
Felix comforts his wife and children. He wasn’t close to Mirabel but she was still family. He’s sad but not as torn as the other. (Sorry that’s all I can really say about Felix)
Dolores
The poor girl is ridden with guilt. She blames herself for not hearing Mirabel and putting a stop to it. Every night she stays up trying to listen for her cousin. Her anxiety goes through the roof, for once, she is unable to hear a thing coming from Mirabel and it scares her. It’s even when worse when she can hear everything going on in the house. Every thing. She hears her Tia’s sobs, she hears her cousins sorrow, she hears her Tio’s anguish, she hears it all and it’s breaking her. She can’t bare to look any of them in the eyes. She just can’t bring herself to do it. Not when it’s her responsibility to know what’s always going on, to inform the family when something important happens. She’s failed at her only job and the guilt is suffocating her.
Camilo
Camilo copes by transforming into Mirabel. He paces his room having conversations with her, transforming back and forth between the two of them. The more he transforms into her the harder it gets to remember all the details. He remembers her glasses being blue, but he’s not sure. It scares Camilo. As time goes on he’s forgetting what she looks like. One day he’s pacing his room again, reliving old conversations he had with Mirabel from when they were in the nursery together. He catches a glimpse of himself, of Mirabel, in his mirror. In that moment he just breaks. He transforms back into his true form, hugging himself and wishing it was Mirabel. As the weeks turn into month’s and month’s turn into years Camilo’s fear of forgetting her worsens. He searches for any pictures of her in the house. Almost all of them were from before her gift ceremony, the only other one was of her and him when they were twelve. He hugs himself and cries over the pictures. He can’t remember her face anymore. It’s hard to even imagine what she looks like.
Antonio
Antonio’s hurt, hurt beyond belief. He can’t connect with his family like he used to. He doesn’t want to eat his Tia’s cooking knowing Mirabel used to teach him how to grab extra without anyone noticing. He doesn’t wan’t to hug his brother and sister knowing they didn’t do anything to help Mirabel. He refuses to talk to both Isabela and Abuela. No one could touch the stuffed animal that Mirabel gave him. He couldn’t trust them not to get rid of what was left of her. He blames his family for her disappearance. He can’t understand exactly why she’s gone but he knows it’s all their fault.
Bruno
Bruno flops into his chair and buries his head in his hands. The first person to except him in so long was gone. He feels lost now, all the courage Mirabel had given him before was gone. He couldn’t face his family. He didn’t really want to either.

Sorry I can’t bring myself to write Abuela Alma’s section. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this. It’s a bit angstier than what I’m used to writing.
Since Camilo and Mirabel were the same age growing up, the two of them were pretty close. So close that they genuinely believed they were twins. Every year on their birthday’s until they were ten or so the two of them insisted that they would celebrate their birthdays together and just so happened to have two birthdays every year. If someone tried to tell them otherwise, one of them (or both) would cry.
Dolores’s room is sound proof in order to keep her sane, it originally wasn’t like that but casita took pity on her after her first night with her gift when she got zero sleep.
Julieta used to leave out hot food at night in hopes that Bruno would smell it and come back home. She would start crying in private if she found that the food was still there in the morning.
Camilo noticed that his Tia would leave out food at night and get sad if it was still there in the morning. So he made it his personal mission to grab the food late at night. One night, when he was nine or so, he saw Bruno on the counter grabbing food from the pantry. He passed out from fear while Bruno was telling him not to cry. This is how we got the line “7 foot tall with rats along his back when he calls your name it all fades to black”
Once when a person in the town commented on Mirabel not having a gift Antonio asked a flock of birds to torment that person for the next week. That person now flinches at even the mention of birds.
When Mirabel was really little (before her gift ceremony) she was very attached to Bruno and followed him around everywhere. Mirabel was also (secretly) Bruno’s favorite niece/nephew in the family. She doesn’t remember her favortism towards Bruno though because she tends to block out memories from when she was younger.
Abuela Alma says she has no favoritism but most definitely favors Isabela over all her grandchildren.
Pepa cried almost every night for a year when Bruno “left”. Bruno listened to her sobs inside the walls and would hug a rat pretending it was her.
Antonio’s birth was sort of an experiment to see if the family still had magic after Mirabel's gift ceremony. Both his parents and siblings loved him very much but often did not have the time to take care of him since the town always needed them for something. Because of this Mirabel practically raised Antonio, which is why he looks to her right away when he needs help during his gift ceremony.
Dolores tells her mom literally everything, including all of the town gossip that she hears.
Isabela and Luisa love to play dress up with each other and try on pretty dresses together. They always did it when they were younger and never quite grew out of it. Side not, Luisa always asks Isabela to put flowers in her hair.
Antonio constantly asks Luisa to throw him up in the air so he can “be like the birds”. She gets nervous every time but still does it anyway so she can see the pure joy on his face.
Dolores would leave blankets for Bruno in places where he would be able to find them and keep them. She would always leave notes like “your secrets safe with me” or “I’ll leave some of Tia Julieta’s snacks for you next time”
Abuela Alma is actually quite protective of her daughters and it took awhile for Felix and Augustin to be able to get on her good side. (Okay but I literally love how it’s canon that Alma took a liking to Felix right away)
When Isabela was younger she would watch her father play the piano and brag to everyone she knew about her dad's musical skills. She even tried to play like him a few times when she thought no one was around. (it sounded terrible) Augustin was secretly watching and started crying when he realized his daughter looked up to him in that regard. Then insisted that every other day he showed her how to play the piano correctly and have father-daughter piano lessons.
