I really really love that there is NO finesse to the way Glinda just fuckin…throws out the whole government. Just fuckin chucks it. Her Elphie is dead, she has nothing to lose, and yes she’s gonna honor Elphaba’s legacy in every way possible once she’s had a second to breathe, but first she’s getting petty revenge and she’s so goddamn ruthless about it. Emotionally eviscerate the Wizard first, THEN banish him to the ends of the earth. Humiliate and taunt Morrible like a cat with a mouse, THEN have her dragged away and locked in a cage previously used for Animals. This motherfucker did not cleverly or intricately work the system to bring down the government, she staged a one-woman coup in her sparkly dress and Elphie’s big clompy boots and she was an ice cold bitch about it. She knowingly lets herself get ugly for a minute and revels in it because that’s all she has left. Heartbroken vengeful Glinda you are so dear to me.

Cynthia Erivo is a beautiful and feminine and accomplished actress who is very good in her roles. she deserves protection and praise. seeing people hypermasculinize her and diminish her importance and make racist caricatures “for the memes” makes me wanna punch dirt. that is a person and so is everyone who happens to look like her. think about their feelings before you post stupid shit

I loved the "For Good" scene; but I can't help but crack up when I'm imagining Glinda and Elphaba having this heartfelt moment, meanwhile a child is literally screaming in Elphaba's dungeon

Its so funny to me that whenever Glinda and Fiyero have a real conversation, it's about Elphaba.

These two stick together as a "missing Elphaba" support group, finding comfort in each other loving Elphaba while the world hates her.

"I'm Not That Girl (Reprise)"; but instead the song isn't about how Glinda isn't Elphaba; instead, it's about how Glinda isn't like Fiyero. She doesn't have the same courage he did---the courage that made him brave enough to leave everything behind to be with Elphaba.

She isn't the girl that Elphaba needs her to be.

This scene is adorable and all; but it's so funny to think about Glinda and the Wizard having to brainstorm ideas on how to convince Elphaba to join them. And they ultimately settled on Tunnel-of-love-esque broom ride.

Like imagine having to plan this WHOLE ROOM (that has like a light show inside it) and (what is functionally) an AMUSEMENT PARK RIDE to get ur girlfriend to join you. And you have to plan and coordinate it all with her dad.
