What the hell is this YouTube. Oh, it's called Ask YouTube and it's a search powered by AI. Why would I need some AI search when I perfectly fine with the default search that been existed for years. What's an idiotic decision.

I watch this film called Suicideland by Mavis Joshi which as the title suggest as about people who kill themselves in afterlife. This film is sad. It's making me sad and emotional about the world and I like it making me sad. Films like this should existed without any sort of censorship for god know what. And why is that content platforms like YouTube and TikTok hate me when I say the word suicide itself. This film show that children, adults, soliders, basically anyone can kill themselves for any reason. I like how they depicted this afterlife for suicidal people. I could talk about it allday in this Tumblr post over an animated film that made for the creator's instituline but I feel this is more suited for a story on my personal site and not on 'hope this won't get deleted' place like this. Overall, I love this film.

Note: the original YouTube film got locked with YouTube's AI ID verification. Fortunately, the creator upload the film on Vimeo. That's sweet.

It can be stressful to not have anything interesting to do in such long weekend although I guess the full release of The Amazing Digital Circus give me one thing on my list. Speaking of Amazing Digital Circus, the finale was awesome to say (I was of course ignoring all of the fandom drama and film spoilers). It cool I get to both see and live a web series like Amazing Digital Circus with such philosophical themes to technology, artfical intelligence, meaning of life, reality, and much else. I know there are going to be some well-detailed review on the web series however I feel like I should do it once I feel like doing it. I could definitely say the finale is quite humorous how it handle queer topics as if reality's gay.

I feel that why I hate the modern web that we live in. Algorithm, AI, bots, news, drama, corps. Yeah I written a whole a story on it. These days, I just relied on forums and imageboards cuz they're more authentic than pretty much any "social media" platforms I use. For instance, I have to use an extension that enables blocking certain elements on YouTube so I don't have to deal with AI slop. I also been working on a spreadsheet listing down all the YouTube channels I been subscribed (there's like a thousand) and just tried to trim it down to hopefully a hundred. I kinda hate Bluesky for it's character limit which I know it's a core piece of it. That's why I like Tumblr more than Bluesky. And I have no interest in utilizing Instagram and TikTok. That should be obvious. And that's all I could say from my personal experiences. See you later scrollists.

I need to read

For today and definitely tomorrow and more, I tried to get myself into reading more often than just videos. I'm currently starting with mostly forums like imageboards, textboards, and such else, and comics and manga. Forums because they're short, easy-to-gaze, and inteligent. It's mostly imageboards that I'm doing it. I just like the anonymity and clean-alternative feel to it. I also read blogs and personal sites just to mix. Webcomics and manga are another source of reading I been doing. Whatever it comic strips or book, I been doing it and love it. I do visit /co/, /tttt/, and /a/ oftentimes.

There are many things going on politically that are frustrating, but something that I find even more frustrating is how telegraphed the trajectory we’re currently on was and continues to be.

Roughly two years ago, there was a family member that I outlined how exactly this was going to happen.  How certain minorities were going to be labeled as being intrinsically criminal, and how this would lay the groundwork for future atrocities.

I pointed to specific language in Project 2025; Republicans literally spelled out what they were planning to do in advance.

I was ignored.

I’m not sure what it takes to get our fence-sitting “allies” to care, they might never…

…but given enough time and how bad things eventually get, they’ll say they did.
