Hello there, I'm 𝒀𝒖𝒛𝒖𝒌𝒊 (she/her)!!

This is my sideblog on which I want to post my writing projects. If you're interested in my studyblr main blog, please stop by and interact, I'll be very happy!<3 My trademark must be that I have the wildest ideas for projects, I write them down, I take notes on the characters and I even start plotting but what I've never done before is actual writing. No, no, there have been times when I actually wrote some small one shot fanfics (even on request), but I'm yet to write multi-chapter fiction and it's absolutely terrifying to me for some reason. However, I want to keep trying and finally get myself to write the stories I've always wanted to share with the world. Writing preferences

As we know now, there are no written projects by me available at the moment (so sad tbh). However, I'm going to show you which genres, tropes and character types I like and want to write about!

enemies to lovers (non-toxic version!), forbidden love, soulmates, artificial intelligence, aliens, betrayal, paranormal entities (no horror!), royalty, knights, witches & sorcerers, adventure, hidden/mistaken identity, gods, angels, demons, vampires, time travel, cyberpunk, solarpunk, reincarnation, spiritual concepts, dystopia, magic, unrequited love, hurt/comfort, in vino veritas

slow burn, angst, fluff, dark fic -- not too much fan of smut; I prefer building tension without sexualizing everything

ღ Characters

I love to have relatable characters in my stories. As I'm almost in my mid-twenties, I'm not really interested in high school drama anymore. Therefore most of my characters will be more mature or will be able to reflect properly (of course always depending on the story and setting). I want to achieve solid character development.

My vision is to give readers comfort through my stories. I want them to read my works and relate to the characters, feel for them, empathize and fall in love with new worlds; maybe even learn something or have new revelations how I had them with a few stories in the past <3

I apologize if you’ve been asked this question before I’m sure you have, but how do you feel about AI in writing? One of my teachers was “writing” stories using ChatGPT then was bragging about how good they were (they were not good) and said he was going to sell them. To put aside any legal concerns in that, I’m just trying to talk him down from that because, personally, I would not enjoy dream job being taken by AI.

Many magazines have closed their submission portals because people thought they could send in AI-written stories.

For years I would tell people who wanted to be writers that the only way to be a writer was to write your own stories because elves would not come in the night and do it for you.

With AI, drunk plagiaristic elves who cannot actually write and would not know an idea or a sentence if it bit their little elvish arses will actually turn up and write something unpublishable for you. This is not a good thing.

Writeblr Introduction

Hello all, I’d love to be a more active member in the writing community to motivate myself to write more, so I’m looking for some people to follow and reblog from! I love tag games and asks of all kind, so feel free to interact with this post!

About my writing:

I write mostly high fantasy, character-driven stories that focus on personal, morally grey struggles

Almost all of it is inspired by mythology & folktales, many characters have one (or multiple) literary allusions

Lots of influences from dark romanticism, horror, gothic novels, classical tragedies. Very much lost in the romantic yearning for the unknown. Facing the horrors, failing to conquer them, grasping for the hope between…

Some sci-fi inspirations, although I personally haven’t written much for it yet. I especially adore all dystopian settings, whether that be steampunk, dieselpunk or cyberpunk.

Romance often isn’t the direct focus, but a nice little subplot that ties into the larger narrative. Overall focus is more on platonic relationships (esp. in ensemble casts & in a queer light)

About me:

My name’s Tyne, I’m in my early 20s and studying English. I harbor lots of love for languages, myths and classical texts, although ancient languages fascinate me the most. I also love drawing, painting, making music (soundtracks/leitmotifs mostly) and playing video games (mostly rpgs, simulations & strategy). I also often illustrate the characters in my WIPs :)

I hope to publish my current project Vestige someday, as it’s a story that’s very dear to my heart and has been floating around my head for years now.  I’ve been coming up with stories since I was little so I’m hoping to see a few of them realized someday.

a bereft grim reaper is ordered to solve a maiden’s curse of immortal amnesia. Together they journey through an art noveau and steampunk inspired world with fey-like gods, divine contracts and punishments that have long been forgotten. As they rush to overturn fate, they gradually piece their broken selves back together. (Intro TBA)
