sorry, why should i apologize for that rant? its all true lmao
iâm a person too? and so are all of the other minorities excluded from the âbig four twoâ of the lgbtq. the q is the umbrella term and its the afterthought????? tf
it doesnt make no sense buddies
honestly why use the acronym lgbtq at all?? why not grsm/gsrm? or like,,, just queer?
lgbtq is often shortened to lgbt which excludes SO MANY people. literally millions (est. 78 million of pop is asexual, so at the least millions, if not hundreds of millions). those that fall into the categories of the âbig fourâ are often happy enough to use only those four letters in their titles because they know the backlash will be minimal because either:
-they dont care abt minorities within the queer minority
-they donât even recognize whatâs wrong with the term
-they know the minority wont speak up/ isnt big enough to speak up
honestly how cruel and hateful? if you dont see whats wrong with it, go away.
also lgbt is kinda sexist, and yeah i get that glbt is also used too, but then what about bi and trans people??? youâre literally listing a hierarchy of importance.
btw when i use the term queer, i refer to those that are in gender, sexual or romantic minorities, which is basically the grsm/gsrm acronym anyways, but thatâs a lesser know term so
but like, asexuals are so often dehumanized by both the straights and the big four,,,, but i hold so much love for people? just because i dont feel sexual nor romantic attraction doesnt mean im not human. honestly how flawed is your perception of humanity if you base its entire meaning on how they love? that you base it nearly on sex and romance? which literally means you rely on others to be human? what about single people? what about celibate people? and what about us?
sorry that you get the privilege in the queer community to speak first, speak loudest, and speak last. sorry that you are more easily accepted in society now.
YES. ASEXUALS CAN BE STRAIGHT PASSING. BUT WHAT IF WE WANT TO BE OURSELVES?????? what if i want to be seen as myself? what if i also want to come out? why must i face so much backlash for just stating who i am?
it doensât make sense to me
why do i have to be called wrong and incomplete, why do i have to be invalidated, why do i have to be misinterpreted after i so clearly tell you who i am?
if you wanna be acephobic, if you wanna be arophobic, just admit youâre a bigot and go. i donât care if fellow bigots hate you because youâre queer. maybe you might start to understand our point of view. a queer pushed aside, shushed, by fellow queers.
you want examples of our oppression? for what? search it up yourself.
when you ask us to show examples of our oppression, youâre part of the problem. you show us how little we matter to you. you show us that you canât even spare a few minutes out of your day to search up examples of our oppression. you arenât better than us just because there are more of you. you arenât more important.
we amplify your voices, you stifle ours. we support your cause, you are actively pushing against ours. why. act on what you preach.
