True capitalism. People keep on getting government bailouts mixed up with capitalism saying that is the reason it fails. No we just need to stop bailouts and let industries die because they have crappy business ethics. They keep ripping people off, so people stop using them. That’s exactly how it should work but they’re protected cause they provide low skill jobs to the masses. I know people will lose their jobs when these industries close but it’s not like the bailout saves them in the long term. The CEOs take the money, claimed bankruptcy, create layoffs and resign. So messed up. Only difference is without the bailtout is the CEOs don’t get a bonus for resigning.

The doomsday clock gimmick is such a joke. People make a big deal because it hasn’t moved for awhile. Well, why is that. A lot of events should’ve moved it back and forth. This is equal to when Obama got a Nobel Peace prize for his policy before seeing if it actually made a difference. Now folks can go ‘see Trump is a bad president due to the clock’ Just a joke of folks stacking the deck against him. Half of them don’t know why he’s doing it.

So on Saturday I was with some friends, one who whose post liberal stuff all the time on Facebook but isn't so in your face until the subject is brought up. The others are abit more neutral on the spectrum. Well I wasn't thinking and made a disgruntled face about the disaster of the tornadoes to the south portion of the country. My more neutral friend asked what my expression is about and I didn't want to go into detail so I just said 'the news' but despite my vagueness they still asked what about the news. Before I could share quickly about the disasters, my liberal friend had to exclaim 'the women's march'. Being insensitive, I go 'and then?' She was lost and just repeated 'the women marched.' Trying to downplay it I just went "oh good." It was just a funny little moment. She was just so proud of the womens march and like those who are marching didn't quite know the substance behind it other than Trump is bad. The best point she gave to make her 'news' worthy is that it's a big deal they marched without being a holes. Now why isn't that the standard.
