And I've never once downplayed JK Rowling's transphobia. I haven't lied about liking Harry Potter in the past, unlike a lot of people on Tumblr. But I think it's important to not pretend that people with abhorrent views or that have performed abhorrent actions can't make good or entertaining art. I used to really love Harry Potter. American Gods is one of my favorite books. Both of those people are monstrous in different ways and I won't be giving them any money.
