I think I know what Neil was doing between 2006 and 2014
What A Difference 20 Years Makes
Er s10 e19 - 2004
do i need to say it:
To anyone interested in this series,
I submit Margaret Colin as Mrs. Krug from Law & Order: SVU s4 e16 for Peeta’s mom, Mrs. Mellark.
How does everyone feel about Dr. Yolanda Garcia? I really like her. The thing people like about the pitt is that it's realistic. It's like when Santos says about Jude (the kid who lost two fingers because of a firecracker) and his sister in s2e9, "You can't separate her from her brother. It's not right." And then Robbie says, "A lot of what happens to people around here isn’t right."
I think it's rare to find portrayals of unsympathetic upfront characters who aren't cartoonishly evil. "We are not dating. I do not care about your feelings or frustration. I repeatedly tell and show you with my actions that this is only physical."
Maybe people don't like you for your personality. Maybe they don't like you for your justified actions or for no reason at all, and you just have to live with it. I think Santos needs to know in her heart that she did the right thing and not care if anyone agrees with her. She doesn't need to change to be more likable, but then she has to be ok with people not liking her. You will never convince everyone that you are in the right and the world isn't fair. Langdon said himself about the white couple whose kid ate thc gummies, "it would be different if they weren't white", you are never going to see the comeuppance of the straight white guy with 2 kids.
Idk I just like a "You know what you signed up for, don't be surprised character." Dr. Garcia is not subtle or trying to masquerade her intentions, and what you see is what you get.
I wanted to draw Katniss's prep team from the Hunger Games books, as they were kinda only vaguely there in the movies.

Every time I see some moral panic article about how some alarming % of teens admit to vaping or smoking or doing drugs or whatever, I think about that time in 9th grade when school handed us a survey on substance use, told us we had to fill it out, and me and a half dozen friends reported that we’d been habitual users of heroin, cocaine, and acid since the age of 9.
“Mischievous Responder Bias” is a known problem in surveying youth but it’s annoying and expensive to overcome it so often people don’t….also the things that come up when people try to look for it are hilarious, like 99% of the kids who reported having a missing limb were lying.
It is my favorite thing about education research: that you have to remember that your subjects are a bunch of little scamps trying to prank you.
If kids report that they're transgender and have one leg and belong to a gang and have several children ... take it with a grain of salt.
Teens?
Look, I know what happens if you put a poll on tumblr and make Vanilla Extract one of the options.
This reminds me how it's difficult to do research with corvids because they know they're being tested so they just fuck with the researcher and they don't get any usable data.
In another universe Andrew and Aaron don't get separated, but that doesn't change much. In another universe terrible men love fostering twins. In another universe the trauma they share match like puzzle pieces - Andrew with his eidetic memory can never forget but Aaron with his regular memory eventually losses large swaths of memory as they just get Deleted.
In another universe Andrew uses his memory to help his brother, who seems to forget more things than not as of late. Andrew watches where Aaron puts his keys. Andrew listens to Aaron plan their grocery list. Andrew looks at Aaron's appointments and class schedules. Aaron is frustrated by all that he forgets. But Andrew is always there to remind him of anything he needs.
In another universe, Aaron asks Andrew what happened to them between the ages of seven and thirteen. He doesn't remember more than a handful of vague impressions from a whole six year span and he's worried. Andrew tells him it isn't important, don't worry about it, if Aaron needed to remember anything from those years then Andrew would tell him. And in this universe, Aaron trusts him, and doesn't ask anymore.
Hey, so...
Congratulations Op for imagining a reversed image twinyard situation of one of the original Aftg drafts.
