The Radio Dept - Teach Me To Forget Running Out of Love (2016) Electronic, Shoegaze, Dreampop
Jefre Cantu-Ledesma - Love’s Refrain In summer (2016) Ambient, Noise, Drone, Soundscape
I would love to start posting again. Let’s start with this new Joey Bada$$ song. Joey Bada$$ - Land of the Free ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$ (2017) Hip-hop
Here’s a remix I made of Stability from Death Cab For Cutie.
Coldplay - Midnight (Jon Hopkins Remix)
I don’t know what happened to Jon Hopkins before the release of Immunity, but that guy has upped his game so much.
My god how much energy do those guys have. TV On The Radio - Wolf Like Me Return to Cookie Mountain (2006) Also https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N31oFeinFY
Man I love this band
Unknown Mortal Orchestra - Can’t Keep Checking My Phone Multi-Love (2015) Psychedelic Rock
Lapalux - Don’t Mean A Thing Lustmore (2015) Dreamy and glitchy electronic music with R&B and pop influences.
Sufjan Stevens - Death With Dignity Carrie & Lowell (2015)
Folk/pop
The whole album is incredibly beautiful.
Earl Sweatshirt - Grief I DON’T LIKE SHIT, I DON’T GO OUTSIDE Hip-Hop Love the dark lo-fi beat. It’s like it’s made of a Disintegration Loop.
Hello, It has been a while since I posted. Maybe I’m going to post more again in the future. Anyway, this new Tame Impala song is a masterpiece. Tame Impala - Let it Happen Psychedelic Rock, Psychedelic Pop
Goldfrapp - A&E Seventh Tree (2008) Pop
I’m not trying to decry any genre or subgenre of music, though, I just want to make that clear. I listen to a lot of “rock” music, I listen to a lot of electronic music, I have an album that’s literally just the recorded sound of an empty room and shouldn’t be counted as music at all. The point I’ve been trying to make here is that if you herald rock music as the be-all-end-all of music and refuse to listen to any other genre simply because it’s not “real music like rock is” then you’re only seeing a very narrow sliver of all of the music that has ever or will ever be made and frankly that makes you terribly boring
Death Cab For Cutie - Stability Stability EP
Emo, Indie Rock, Slowcore
tUnE-yArDs - Bizness W h o k i l l (2011) This is a great hybrid of electronic, R&B, and Arfrican influences.
Majical Cloudz - Childhood's End Impersonator (2013)
