This scene from Majora’s Mask is one of my favorites in all of video games cause this dude summons an entire organ that’s 4 organs large only to play three notes in the same octave.

The test for high functioning autism is so funny to me because despite everyone’s symptoms presenting completely differently we all get tricked by the same trap.
When I was tested for ASD, I was 11 or 12 and while my parents didn’t tell me what I was going to be doing, it became immediately clear that I was being tested by this doctor. He asked a ton of questions and I answered every one being honest, clear, and informative. I specifically remember about halfway through he said he was going to just write some stuff down and then presented a bunch of toys ATLA style in front of me and told me to play with one. I didn’t really want to, but I was hyper aware that the doctor was lying to me and actually was going to use what I picked as part of the test so I picked the toy I thought would be correct.
I realize years later that there was no correct answer, it’s a test of how I answered. When the doctor asks “would you rather X or Y” and you go “It depends on…” that’s the smoking gun, not what you actually picked.
And it’s hilarious because I swear to god every person who has ASD and has sat through a test like this has had the exact same thing happen to them. Every single person can tell you about “that moment” where they give an answer they thought was completely reasonable and correct and then the doctor started scribbling stuff down and they just got to watch in abject horror.
I’m still rewatching Doctor Who except now I’m at the part where a primal fear and rage awakens in me every time I see “Directed by Steven Moffat” in the title card. Here are things I have yelled out loud tonight (non exhaustive list):
STEVEN YOU NEED TO STOP THIS RIGHT NOW.
STEVEN. YOU CAN’T… *gives up midway through* this is just fan service this isn’t real none of this is happening
*pleading* STEVEN PLEASE. PLEASE. Just stop.
FUCKING… STEVEN. GET OUT OF MY TITLE CARD!
No. Not Steven. Not again. …I can’t anymore.
Steven WHY. JUST stop, that’s not… no.
STEVEN. I can’t watch this… *averts eyes from awkward naked church custom shenanigans*
*softly gasps* Amelia… *crying* Steven you bitch *10 seconds pass* NO DONT KISS- oh ok thank god
Been binge rewatching Doctor Who and I stg this plot loop is making me lose it like.

The world is collapsing. The universe is collapsing. And at the epicenter stands one man who is fire and ice and rage and terror. The one they call Doctor, a nameless traveler who has saved many and grieves many more. His life is a continuous paradox. He swears to kill no more, let no more die and yet he is fated to fail. He is destroyer of worlds, running into the same destiny time and time again. Every single companion who has stood by his side will fall - The lives of millions saved by the sacrifices of those closest to him. But what good is the lives of millions when he couldn’t save them? The most powerful being of all time, forever powerless to save anyone. And now he’s alone once more. Failed once more. Nothing has changed. Nothing will ever change.
ITS CHRISTMAS :DDDD
So I play Animal Crossing New Horizons and if y’all remember it came out close enough to Endgame that memes were still circulating. And Thanos’ “perfectly balanced, as all things should be” quote was super memorable for me. So playing Animal Crossing, me and my sister started calling trees that dropped one each softwood, hardwood, and normal wood “Thanos trees” …cause you know… they’re perfectly balanced.
All this to say that almost 5 years later I’m home for the holiday playing on my Switch and just instinctively mumbled out loud “mmm Thanos tree…” You can guess how that went.
I’m so confused by people upset with Imane for being good at the sport she is trying to be world champion in?
“Well she has an innate biological advantage clearly” Like my brother in Christ you wanna ban runners who have long legs too?
Don’t undermine her hard work.
I’m so mad at Crunchyroll for removing comments this week. I wound up Googling my question and got WAY more spoilers from the AI overview.
Spoilers for MHA season 7 episode 149:
When I lose my train of thought it is near impossible to recover because my brain instinctually plays dial up modem noises in my head and then blue screen critical error thunks and then I’ll hear the Windows restart startup jingle and oh fuck oh god it’s worse the errors are piling up oh no it’s restarting itself THE DIAL UP IS INTERRUPTING SHUT DOWN PROCEDURES OH MY GOD JUST UNPLUG UNPLUG IT
“4.” And then there’s a stock cartoon picture of a pen.
Chris Christie really be out here wondering why he’s not connecting with the younger voters when “no off topic questions” is a staple in almost every Vine compilation.
the fact that we only have “herculean task” and “sisyphean task” feels so limiting. so here’s a few more tasks for your repertoire
icarian task: when you have a task you know you’re going to fail at anyways, so why not have some fun with it before it all comes crashing down
cassandrean task: when you have to deal with people you KNOW won’t listen to you, despite having accurate information, and having to watch them fumble about when you told them the solution from the start (most often witnessed in customer service)
feel free to chime in i ran out of ideas much faster than i anticipated
Hadeon task: When you were objectively the least problematic of the group but you’re the one facing the punishment chore.
Achillean task: When you’re super confident about the task in front of you, unless that ONE LITTLE thing comes up
Hestian task: When you’re doing your job despite knowing the fun drunk is stealing the credit for it anyways.
the transition im crying
he got naughty rope go to naughty room

Is this Akemi Homura?
This is a targeted attack against George Orwell.
this doesnt seem like a popular opinion on here but sometimes i like when characters die. sometimes its needed to raise the stakes and sometimes its the end best befitting of the character and sometimes its needed to move the narrative forward and sometimes its the only way a character would believably leave their story behind and sometimes it just spices things up a bit. sometimes its fun to watch characters die . sorry
When the death is the only one that hits hard enough to make the show have actual consequences after 500 episodes of prolonged plot armor and “mysteriously they didn’t die despite the fact that we watched them die on screen.”
