So i just realised my blog does not have an introduction post.

My name is Shiksha (i have murdered people for calling me rickshaw so beware <33) and I am the academically overachieving mentally ruined Sharma Ji Ki eldest daughter. I have very unhealthy coping mechanisms.

I have a very broken sense of humor and i sometimes post very stupid stuff and personally anxiety ne meri le rakhi hai toh i have no idea why anyone would possibly follow my blog but here we are.

I don't generally base my personality on a specific thing (kyunki mai psychopath hu aur meri personality 2-2 din me badalti rehti hai) but something I DO base my personality upon sometimes is Ghazals and melancholic poetry 🤝

I love reading (that's all I do sometimes) and I write poetry. I make jokes (which you may or may not like)

In music I listen to Bollywood (70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s), Indian bands I like are NAALAYAK, When Chai Met Toast, The Local Train (aur baaki i forgot) I ALSO enjoy K-pop (Jeon Jungkook is my ultimate sweetheart), Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Piyush Mishra. A LOT OF GHAZALS. CLASSICAL HINDI MUSIC. Baaki log i cannot remember but there are tons of artists i love.

The University of Barcelona's Medicine Faculty has temporarily installed a giant heart made by the Catalan artist Jaume Plensa, with the building's columns acting as the ribcage.

The objective of this work of art is to raise awareness about cardiovascular illnesses, which are the leading cause of death worldwide.

The work is titled El cor secret (The Secret Heart). The heart measures 13 metres tall and 10 metres wide, and weighs 150 kg. It's made of synthetic materials and painted by hand. It had previously been shown in Germany in 2014 and was supposed to arrive to Plensa's home city sooner, but it was delayed because of covid. Instead, in 2020, Plensa donated one of his famous head sculptures to this same building, to thank medicine professionals and students for their work during the pandemic.

Sorry to break it to you but you literally have to face your fears and slaughter them. Otherwise you will live a small life that you do not want. You literally have to view your biggest fears and attack them head on. You have to fall into the abyss to find your way out. The easy path does not exist. There is no get out of jail free card. You have to allow yourself to die a spiritual death over and over again in order to reinvent yourself into the person you are actually supposed to be. And you have to be painfully honest with yourself and the people around you. It’s horrible but it’s truly the only way.
