My favorite iterations of the MST3K theme song are the ones where Crow says "I'm different!" both because I think it's a very funny, direct way to address that the voice actor changed and also because those were the first seasons I saw, so I assumed Crow was just the sort of person to yell about how unique he is and that assumption proved true

I love to pair the ukelele chair with the steel guitar cuz when they play together it sounds so nice! And i got an ocean layout with a torch nearby so theres also gentle waves and crackling fire sounds happening.

A few days ago at work i did a double take at a customers tshirt.

Im busy as hell working by myself (junior/teen fashion at the mall) when i look up and see, this over middle aged father of at least 3 daughters buying clothes that day is standing there wearing a fma nina/alexander doing the dbz fusion pose shirt, and my face as i registered what i was seeing must have looked crazy, excited shocked and sad in some quick order.

I asked him where he got it because i love fma and its just so specific. He just said he saw it on tik tok somehwere and didnt remember who he got it from. I dont think he knew what fullmetal alchemist is or who these characters are and therefore how crazy it was to be wearing that shirt.

Please before you grab a random anime shirt cuz it looks cute or funny please look up what it is first so you arent walking around with something so comically dark on it XD

Jonathan Stalling’s Yingelishi is a book of poetry that is read in two ways: in Chinese and in English. He offers a line of English poetry, then rewrites it phonetically in the Chinese language, so that the new line in Chinese has its own unique and coherent meaning, which is then translated back into English. The end result is a poem existing in multiple languages and in no languages at all, with multiple meanings that can be read many ways.

When read aloud, YÍNGĒLÌSHI (pronounced yeen guh lee shr) sounds like an accented pronunciation of the word “English,” while the Chinese reader sees the Chinese characters for “chanted songs, beautiful poetry.” Stalling coined this term (and “Sinophonic English”) to give a positive name to an increasingly widespread variation of English created by combining the two dominant languages of globalization (Mandarin Chinese and English). With over 350 million English speakers in China (more than there are Americans alive) many of whom speak English by recombining existing Chinese sounds into English words and sentences, this new hybrid language is already overwhelmingly present, yet its aesthetic potential has not yet been explored. Stalling’s book complicates any easy dismissal of so-called Chinglish by creating a genuinely uncanny poetry written entirely in Sinophonic English.
