This blog will discuss topics of suicidal ideation, mental instability, and other such potentially sensitive issues.
Basic intro on him below the cut (v_v)
Who is that? “Primotalii Cookie” is a Cookie Run OC! He was made as a design experiment, but he quickly grew on me. I use he/him pronouns on him, but he has no care for gender in the slightest. Anything goes.
What’s his deal? “Baked using an absurd amount of spice, he was too spicy for the witch to actually eat. With that in mind, Primotalii thought he was free to hang around the witch and do whatever he wants to! But the witch could only handle his lazing around and endless questions for so long... Sick of him doing nothing, she placed a curse on him and kicked him out! And what a curse it was! If Primotalii stayed bored for too long... he'd start to go crazy! But he isn't one to give up so easily. Now, he runs around the world, playing with everyone and everything, doing whatever it takes to keep himself entertained.”
But really, how long can you live like that…?
What happens to him? I like to explore every possible route with him. It’s fun. Any ending you can imagine, can happen - there is a timeline for everything. Sometime’s he’ll fall to his curse, sometimes he breaks it — sometimes he rises above to be the best version of himself, and others he is so blinded by his pain that he brings everyone down with him.
Which is why I need this blog — to explore the many, many spiralling veins of Primotalii’s fate.
Who is he associated with? He’s a wanderer, so he gets to meet a lot of people. The main person he is written with is Shadow Milk Cookie, but he can interact with just about any character!
Please enjoy your stay! Or, enjoy your life even more by skipping this blog entirely. ♥️
freak4freak is always so awesome but another character dynamic that i think is really great is freak vs freak. you're the only person who understands me and i'm the only person who understands you. unfortunately this also does not stop either of us from hating each other and in fact it might even make everything significantly worse for everyone involved
well he’d be more of a strange sort of roamer or drifter. does good sometimes and does bad othertimes. wouldn’t have his curse curse but instead just this feeling of constant discomfort and unease. always on the move, trying to find something that satiates his mind, that will put him at a true peace
I miss Rhubarb Fool Cookie [any pronouns] a lot, sniffs. Performer at the Pudding Cup Circus with Ice Juggler and Banana Cookie
They’re so bizarre for absolutely no reason. Bizarre but so grounded and to-the-point and blunt in a way you wouldn’t expect from a circus performer doing all sorts of whimsical tricks and shit snsjsjdjff.
She’s Really Particular about things and easily gets irritated when things don’t occur as he thinks they should. If an audience claps too long or too little? If an audience doesn’t participate enough? If someone dares to waste her time? BOO. He’s sick of you already. Get your shit together!!!!!!!
Despite this, she’s actually extremely patient when it comes to those still learning, or those willing to be taught. He sees it as, like— if you act like you know what you’re doing, you better actually know. For those who haven’t been taught, it’s okay to mess up, as long as they’re willing to learn — how can you expect perfection from people who’ve not been given instruction? From those who haven’t been given a chance?
So while her attitude is a bit bizarre, eclectic, and scary for most to work with, he’s really soft with children, and is an efficient and patient teacher.
While she’s very on top of her physical health, he does drink wine and smoke, and hates it when people interrupts her smoke breaks for trivial or needless shit.
Her blunt and sharp demeanour can lead a lot to make assumptions about him, but he’s actually very content and happy with his life!
I saw a poem, by Althea Davis, which reminded me of Primotalii. I think he’d feel a very close-to-home empathy towards animals that died for reasons completely out of their control. After all, he, too, is an animal doomed to die by something out of his control. A pointless, meaningless death, at the hands of another… it’s everything he’s trying to avoid.
It’s honestly fascinating how Primotalii’s morals and ethics have evolved since his initial creation. He originally was very morally grey and ambiguous, committed solely to his own entertainment, doing whatever it takes to stave off his curse, regardless of who he has to harm to do so.
But now? He has a moral code that has been molded around his curse. He’s more empathetic than he ever was intended to be. On one hand, I feel like it takes away from the intrigue of a potential character that’s so bullheaded and self-centred, but on the other hand it makes him a much more rounded and believable person.
Yes, initially, he didn’t really hurt people out of an actively mean spirit either… he was just doing what it takes to keep his curse away. But now he has standards for himself lol lol
Primotalii won’t hurt anyone who doesn’t harm another. He won’t take away that control over their life. That’s senseless, and not cool, and therefore no fun!
He still lives for himself, yes, but he can’t help but see the way his own character echoes in the eyes of animals, scared and doomed to a fate beyond their understanding.
Having to live like him… He wouldn’t wish it upon anyone.
…is Primotalii’s main guide to life. He’ll accept and face any consequence of his decisions head-on!
But, he applies this line of thinking to others, as well. Your own actions should be equivalent to what you’re willing to face, is essentially how he sees it.
Hurt someone? Be open to being hurt in kind. Kill someone? Well, you’re simply asking for what happens to you. Only do what you’re willing to have done to you. He has no qualms against hurting those who have done unsavoury things — because they signed up for this game, willingly.
He’s annoying and a total nuisance, but he wouldn’t truly harm someone who never dabbled into anything harmful themselves. Now, he doesn’t think he’s a moral person — it just feels logical. Fair. Why involve someone in a game they never wanted to play? Again, it all comes back to personal freedom, with Primotalii. To control.
(This is why, despite having all the reasons to empathize with and enjoy Burning Spice, he has quite a distaste for the man. Burning Spice is indiscriminate, razing down anyone who comes into his path… and Primotalii thinks that’s just really, really lame.)
