People love to write Simon as angry and explosive because that's the majority of what we see from him during Iron Lung, but they forget that in the Project Hail Mary movie alone (I haven't finished the book yet), Grace threw a trash can out of anger after finding out that the astrophage is made mostly of water, broke an expensive piece of tech because it annoyed him by not working the way he wanted, and smashed a computer screen when he found the taumoeba leak and realized what that meant for Rocky and his ship.

Let Grace be angry too! He doesn't have to be a perfect patient angel all the time. Let him have big emotions too!
