Yoga Mudrasana modified for Scoliosis. This posture is a simple, yet very effective way to normalize the curves of the spine for those with scoliosis. This video demonstrates many variations and modifications for individuals who may have difficulty with the posture. It is important to note that if you have a right sided scoliosis, you want to practice the pose as demonstrated in this video. If you have a left sided scoliosis, you will do the same sequence but focus on walking the hands to the right (the opposite way). If you have an S-curve or double curve, you will simply do the first part of the pose, lengthening the spine with the arms straight ahead.
